Story
Meet Buddy 🐾 Buddy is a young adult Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as his smile—and a story that shows just how resilient he is. He was found as a stray in heartbreaking condition: emaciated and suffering from a very severe skin infection. Despite everything he’s been through, Buddy’s gentle spirit never faded. Thanks to multiple oral medications, topical treatments, medicated baths, and the unwavering dedication of his amazing foster family, Buddy is truly on the upswing. He’s already looking so much better, and his transformation continues every day as his body heals and his confidence grows. Buddy is the definition of an easygoing, loving Lab. He is wonderful with dogs, cats, kids—pretty much everything he encounters. Friendly, affectionate, and eager to be part of a family, Buddy takes life in stride and greets the world with quiet gratitude and tail wags. Buddy is ready for a forever home where he can continue to heal, thrive, and finally enjoy the life he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will love everyone he meets, Buddy may be your perfect match. 💛

Story
Hi there, I'm Boo, a sweet and fluffy mixed breed (maybe Jack Russel Terrier and lab mix) with white fur and tan spots. I'm about 4 years old and weigh 55 pounds. I'm looking for a loving and caring family who can give me a forever home. I would do well with children, but I recommend older kids because of my size and energy level. I have grown a community of love and support around me. One of my favorite things to do is to visit my friends at the pet store who practice my training (sit, paw, etc.) with me and give me yummy treats! I'm a happy boy who loves to play with other dogs all the time. I have not been cat-tested but can be if you’d like. I love toys and bringing them outside in the yard to play with. I do like to bury some of my toys too. I need some more training with walking on a leash because I get very excited on walks and pull a bit. If you look closely at my photos, you may notice that my front left foot is oddly bent. The vet thinks it was broken and simply healed this way. It doesn’t hurt me or slow me down at all. As you can see from my videos, I still have a great time playing. There really isn’t any need to do anything about it. I just wanted to let you know why my “high five” looks more like a sly five. I absolutely adore Zoomies, splashing around in my swimming pool, playing fetch, and getting belly rubs. There's nothing better than a good romp around followed by some quality couch-potato time. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also potty and crate trained. I'm currently being fostered in Clemmons, NC, but can be transported to other states for my perfect match family. If you think you could be the one for me, please complete an application to let my rescue know you're interested in Boo. I can't wait to meet you and start our new journey together!
