Story
Meet Mini Zion! Mini Zion came to us as a stray and has already shown just how resilient he is. He arrived with a skin condition, but with medication he is clearing up nicely. His fur will continue to grow back with time and care. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, all ready for his next chapter. Mini Zion can be a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet and gentle personality really shines through. Still very much a puppy, Mini Zion loves his toys and enjoys going for walkies. He walks well on leash and is eager to explore the world around him. As a young pup, he will benefit from basic training to help him grow into a confident, well mannered companion. We are still getting to know how Mini Zion does with other dogs, so a dog meet and greet will be required. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Mini Zion is looking for a patient, loving home willing to give him the time and guidance he needs to continue blossoming into the amazing dog he is becoming.Interested in adopting? Story
Hello I'm Daisy! I am around 3 years old. I had a rough start at life but I am looking forward to starting over. I am a shy girl but will warm up rather quickly and would do best in an adult only home. I am learning trust and how to "dog" and I just know there is a family out there looking for a friend. I'm willing to be that friend, I just ask that you can be patient with me and help me build my confidence. I do not like those kitty creatures and kids make me too nervous. I did however have an older calm male doggie bud that I was learning from. I was fostered by a professional trainer and I enjoyed playtime with some of her personal dogs, but she does say that I am dog selective and it will take the right dog and time and patience for me to be comfortable. If you are willing to put in the work, I am more than ready to work along side of you. Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Walter Walter is the definition of a gentle soul. This sweet boy came to Fierce Love Rescue from a local animal shelter in West Virginia, and from the moment he arrived, he’s made it clear that his favorite thing in the world is people. Truly — he loves everyone (including other animals!) and hasn’t met a single soul he doesn’t get along with. Walter is likely partially deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. What he does hear loud and clear is love, kindness, and the sound of you sitting down on the couch — because that’s exactly where he wants to be. He’s a certified couch potato who would happily spend the day napping beside you (or better yet, on you). He’s wonderfully velcro in the best way: always nearby, always ready to sit on your lap, and always eager for affection. If he feels he’s not getting quite enough pets, he’ll politely “talk” to you to remind you. Walter is also food motivated, which makes him extra charming and easy to bond with. He doesn’t need long walks or lots of stairs — he’s perfectly content with a calm, cozy lifestyle and being close to his humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to love you and share your couch, Walter may be your perfect match.       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.100% of every adoption fee is used to rescue and care for homeless animals.  Please consider donating to help us more rescue animals. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ciao! I’m Winnie. I’m a 4.5-year-old, neutered male pit/lab mix weighing about 40–45 pounds. I was born in Italy and brought to the U.S. by my military family. Due to recent drastic changes in my family’s circumstances, it’s become clear that a new family would give me the stability I deserve. Because of this, I’m now hoping to be your best paisano. I’m a very good boy and try hard to please. I’m calm and easygoing in the house and do best in a steady, kind environment. I seek out attention from my people and, while I may be a bit shy at first, a calm home will help me settle in, relax, and quickly become your buddy. I like spending time outside, and a daily walk would be lovely I would benefit from leash training, as I can get excited by wildlife. I get along well with other dogs and have a soft, submissive personality with people, looking to my humans for reassurance rather than demanding attention. I’m fully house-trained and crate-trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and affectionate by nature. I enjoy being close to my people and make a quietly devoted and loyal companion.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.100% of every adoption fee is used to rescue and care for homeless animals.  Please consider donating to help us more rescue animals. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Mouse Mouse got a heartbreaking start to life. Found at just a few weeks old alongside their siblings - Piggy, Badger, and Magpie - abandoned in a bag inside a trash can in Georgia, they were thankfully discovered in time and lovingly bottle-fed, giving them the chance to survive and thrive. Now healthy, growing, and full of puppy curiosity, this sweet pup has made the journey by plane to Virginia and is ready to find a forever home. Despite such a rough beginning, they are resilient, affectionate, and eager to learn what it means to be safe and loved. If you’re ready to open your heart to a puppy who’s already overcome so much, this little survivor may be the perfect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.100% of every adoption fee is used to rescue and care for homeless animals.  Please consider donating to help us more rescue animals.
