Story
I am looking to rehome my dog Berkley because we are not able to be home with him as much as he needs us to be. Berkley is an anxious dog that does not like to be alone, when anxious he doesn’t want to eat. A home where someone works from home or has another dog would be best for him. He has been around other dogs and plays well with them. Berkley is also good with cats, sometimes tries to play, but mostly leaves them alone. Berkley would also love to have a yard where he can run without a leash. He’s great with kids, but he often doesn’t look out for very small children and might knock them over on accident. Berkley had Lyme's disease at one point, so he has treats with glucosamine to help with his joints. He knows commands well, but on a leash he pulls. Berkley is a great dog that needs a home that is better suited for him.

Story
Meet Betsy! She is an 11-year-old mixed breed who weighs approximately 30 pounds. Betsy is potty trained and crate trained, though she does need a little encouragement to go into her crate. She co-exists well with other dogs but usually prefers doing her own thing rather than playing. Cats are unknown. Betsy is not much of a cuddler and prefers affection on her own terms, which makes it even more special when she wants that attention. She has wonderful house manners and knows basic commands.Betsy was originally adopted as a puppy and was recently returned through absolutely no fault of her own. Her previous family was devastated to have to give her up. She grew up with a human sibling and does well with children. She’s now looking for a calm, understanding home to spend her golden years feeling safe and loved. Story
Hello, I’m Pollie! I am 7-month-old lab/shepherd mix. I have been told I am very sweet and have a kind and loving demeanor. I was surrendered to the rescue with my sister who has already found a home and now I am hoping for my chance to know the love and happiness from being someone's big baby. I am trying real hard to learn my manners, my former "owners" didn't teach me much, so me and my foster mom are working on this, I want to be a good girl! I love to play with other dogs and run outside in the fresh air, otherwise I will find a fun toy to entertain myself with. My foster mom is always telling me how pretty I am and what a good girl I am and I must admit it secretly makes me feel so proud :) But now that I am fully vetted, I am ready to find that wonderful thing called my own family, oh boy I cannot wait! If you think I may be the one, just go to SandiPaws.org and put an application in for me, I cannot wait to meet you xoxoThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Buc is a loyal, loving purebred chocolate Labrador Retriever with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After the loss of his original owner, Buc came into our care during a family transition, and we are now looking for the stable, permanent home he deserves. He is affectionate, intelligent, protective, and deeply devoted to the people he trusts. Buc thrives in a calm, secure environment where he feels part of the family. His original breeder paperwork is included, and he currently uses a GPS collar system with customizable boundaries, so a traditional fenced-in yard is not necessarily required for the right home.

Story
Need a hunting buddy, adventure partner, and comedian all in one dog? Meet EDDIE!Eddie is a 6.5-year-old Labrador Retriever with the perfect mix of goofy charm, classic Lab loyalty, and well-mannered gentleman energy. This handsome stud has clearly done his homework over the years - he already knows several basic commands including sit, lay down, and shake, and he’s always happy to show off his skills for a snack or a little praise! But don’t let his polished manners fool you… Eddie still knows how to have FUN! His absolute favorite thing in the world? FETCH. Tennis ball? Chuck-it toy? Random stick he found outside? Eddie is READY. He could happily spend hours chasing, retrieving, and proudly trotting back like he just won an Olympic medal. And if you’re looking for a buddy for outdoor adventures, Eddie even has the basics of duck and goose hunting down!Eddie would do best with older children, and would need to be the ONLY DOG in the household. He would thrive in a working home with proper management and boundaries in place! Eddie is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and given a flea and tick preventative as well as a heartworm preventive. If you’ve been searching for a fun-loving, handsome, well-rounded best friend… Eddie might just be your guy! Story
Bio for Ghost Ghost is an 11 week old lab mix. I call him Tux because his belly looks like he’s wearing a tuxedo. He is the perfect mixture of sweet and playful. He loves to snuggle the most, but then loves to collect toys to put on the couch. (He is so proud of himself now that he can jump up and down off it) When he is playful, he doesn’t use his puppy teeth to hurt you. Super gentle. He LOVES giving lots and lots of puppy kisses! Potty training is going well, hopefully we can master it soon. He loves having a play friend, so other playful dogs should be good. I am sure he will do great with younger children as well.
