Story
Meet Rolly, a one-year-old Lab mix who is the living definition of a `happy-go-lucky` guy!Rolly arrived at the shelter as a stray, and while his past is a mystery, his personality is an open book of pure, goofy joy. He is a classic, dopey Lab who hasn`t quite realized how big he is yet, often navigating the world with the uncoordinated enthusiasm of a giant puppy. Whether he’s wagging his entire body to greet you or tripping over his own paws during a walk, Rolly is guaranteed to keep his future family laughing every single day.Because of his `bull in a china shop` energy level, Rolly would do best in a home with older children who can handle his size and occasional bouts of clumsiness. He is very social and would likely thrive with another playful dog sibling who can match his energy and help him burn off some steam. While we aren`t sure how he feels about cats just yet, we recommend slow, careful introductions to make sure he learns to respect his feline friends.Rolly is a total sweetheart, but he is still a bit of a blank slate when it comes to manners. He’s looking for a patient adopter who is ready to dive into some basic training with him—he’s eager to please and highly motivated by treats, so he’s sure to be a star pupil! If you have a big heart and a little extra room on your couch for a loyal, lovable goofball, Rolly might just be the perfect addition to your family.Rolly is neutered prior to adoption and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Rolly, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. Story
Meet Luke, a retriever mix that came up from Louisiana last week with his littermates. He is a little lover for sure. He attaches quickly to both men and women. Born in August, he is still a baby and he is not used to this cold, snowy winter weather. He does go to the bathroom outside when walked out there, but is soo cold. He is puppy pad trained. If you have a puppy pad down, that is the only place he will go in the house. He doesn't like to be alone, but is thriving with our other two dogs so well that he has run of the house with them when we sleep or are not home. He is interested in our cats, but they are not interested in him yet. One has opened up and let him close, he did great. He loves toys and takes them all up in the couch. If the toys are too big, he will keep trying until he gets it up there. If you would like to adopt this sweet boy apply with The Hope Highway.

Story
Meet Ryker, a one-year-old bundle of sunshine who is ready to find her forever family! This happy-go-lucky girl is the definition of a `lovebug,` known for her infectious wagging tail and her desire to be right by your side. Ryker recently lost her home through no fault of her own due to a change in landlord policies, but she hasn`t let that dampen her spirits. While she is sweet and cuddly, Ryker is also a young athlete with plenty of energy to burn. She would love a home where she can go for long walks, play fetch in the yard, or join you on weekend adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will greet every day with a smile, Ryker is waiting to meet you!Having lived successfully with older children and another female dog, she is a social butterfly who thrives in a family environment. Because she has never been around cats, she would likely do best in a feline-free home or one prepared for very slow, supervised introductions. She did live with another dog, but has minimal exposure to dogs outside of her social circle.Ryker is spayed prior to adoption and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Ryker, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. Story
Hi, I'm Henry, a 1yr old lab mix, around 50 lbs. My friend Chloe and I are looking for our forever homes. We do not have to be adopted together but I'll be honest, we are both such nice and loving doggies that it will be hard to pick between us. We both love people and other dogs and are eager to find new friends to race around and play with. Because we are quite young still please be mindful that we don't yet have all our manners so if you have a little one, we might knock them down with our excitement... so just have bigger littles or be mindful of our lack of training at the moment. We hope you will pick one of us or both of us and make us part of your family! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Hot Wheels SEEKS HIS FOREVER FAMILY who is committed to giving him nothing but happy days for the rest of his life. For a low adoption fee, you can bring home this $15,000 family member. A video of “Wheels” was shared showing him dragging his back end. The Right to Live Rescue took him into rescue. He was covered in fleas and had severe dragging wounds. He had back surgery with a 50/50 chance of success. Then, he had one of his broken back legs reset and plated. He started hydrotherapy and seemed to be doing well. Sadly, he developed a flesh-eating bacteria on his back legs causing one to be removed. He stayed at the Vet’s office for about 5-6 weeks while they worked to clear him of the infection and open another gaping wound in his remaining and plated rear leg. He has no idea he is different than the other dogs. He loves to go on walks in his wheelchair. He does zoomies around the yard and chases the others and even plays tug-of-war with a 112 pound lab/pittie/mutt foster brother. He loves to have his ears rubbed since he cannot scratch them himself. He loves to scoot through his splash pad on hot days and wade in his inflatable pool. He turns in circles like a top when he gets excited which is when he is getting fed or sees you come home. He can pee and poop on his own but he sometimes does that in his sleep or when he’s excited. He dribbles a bit. He has diapers and belly bands but they sometimes slide off because he does not have both legs. He is willing to travel with his wheelchair, his diapers, his belly bands, his toys, his elevated feeding stand and slow feed bowl (that does not really slow him down). Despite everything he’s been through, he is the happiest boy in the world. He would love to sit on a dog bed and chew a nylabone and watch to make sure you are looking at him. He has passed cats on the porch or street and not reacted to them. He may need a short introduction to any new fur siblings. He seems to know who he can pick on and who he needs to defer to. He will come with this cute gingerbread costume just in time for Christmas. https://www.facebook.com/reel/280549138140602 *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption.
