Story
Our daughter and son adopted this dog two years ago on New Year’s Eve. They did not ask the right questions, and we did not know he would be so big. He needs a good place to run around and enjoy being outside. We love him, but we cannot keep him in our home. Not to mention, our daughter has gone away to college, and is about to move into an apartment where she cannot take a large dog, and our son is about to go away to college. Unfortunately, with mine and my husband‘s busy schedule, we cannot continue to take care of the dog. He is very sweet and loving, just needs a nice yard to run around in. Any family will be lucky to have him.

Story
Meet Titus: A Gentle Giant Looking for Wide Open Spaces Titus is a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his frame. True to his breed, he’s the perfect combination of gentle guardian and devoted companion—loyal to his core, protective of his loved ones, and incredibly sweet with the people he trusts. This beautiful boy thrives when he has room to roam. He loves nothing more than stretching his legs on a good hike or run, then settling in close to his people for some well-deserved relaxation time. Titus forms deep bonds with his family and takes his role as protector seriously, always keeping a watchful eye on his home and the people he loves. Our recent move to the city has been tough on Titus. As a dog bred for open pastures and mountain landscapes, the confined spaces, constant noise, and bustle of urban life have left him anxious and stressed. He needs what his breed was meant for: space to breathe, land to patrol, and the peace that comes with a quieter environment.

Story
Edward is 12 weeks old and weighs 16.10 lbs! He had a big weekend. He attended his second adoption event on Saturday at Hollywood Feed and went to Krewe of Barkus in Downtown McKinney on Sunday. He was such a good boy, and everyone was so impressed with how well behaved he was. He is incredibly calm for a puppy his age! Edward is kennel trained and doing fantastic with potty training. He has even started ringing the potty bells to let his foster parents know when he needs to go outside. He does great with other dogs and will need another playful, cuddly canine companion in his forever home. Per Wisdom Panel, Edward is a mix of seven different breeds, with his top breeds being 42% Great Pyrenees and 33% American Pit Bull Terrier. He is estimated to weigh between 46–77 lbs fully grown. If you are interested in adopting Edward, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to his breed mix, we will not be placing him in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2626102##
