Let's not forget the cutest husband and wife duo... we pulled them from the shelter with their 3 beautiful baby girls. Thanks to their awesome foster mom, they survived pneumonia and are all doing well now. Papa and Mama Coco were terrific parents, but now it's their turn to enjoy life as a loving couple with a loving forever family.. Papa is about 4 and Mama Coco is about 7. I'm thinking Lhasa mixes. They really love each other, and are very bonded. They love to play with toys , snuggle, but most of all love to be held and petted. Mama is shy, papa is playful. They are very loving once they trust you, but can be nippy with strangers and when there is a lot going on around them they get very stressed. Also Typical to the breed, they are very protective of the people they love. They'd be happiest as only pups. They are fun and loving. Augie, 7 years old, approximately 18 lbs. Augie is slowly coming around after being surrendered to a high kill shelter by his owner, supposedly for biting him when he touched his ear. We noticed that Augie has a terrible ear infection. If he did even bite, it could have been out of pain. People who care take these things into consideration. Augie came to us very fearful and shut down, he is slowly showing signs of feeling safe. You can see it in his face and eyes already, that he is relaxing. Augie is going to need a calm, patient, and loving person who will give him time and space. An adult home is best. Possibly another calm dog who will show Augie that life isn't all bad. Although his past wasn't kind to him, he's looking ahead to a future filled with love, patience, and security. When Moose was found abandoned, his coat was so severely matted it was tangled tightly against his skin. It was heartbreaking to see the neglect he had endured, but despite everything, Moose hasn't let his past define him. He has a gentle spirit and is ready to trust the right family. Moose enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. While he'd be happy to have a canine companion, he'd also thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention. He's potty trained, loves his daily walks, and rarely passes up the chance to carry around a squeaky toy. Moose is incredibly food motivated, making him eager to learn, and he's already mastering commands like "sit." At the end of the day, his favorite place is curled up beside you on the couch, enjoying all the snuggles he can get.
