Meet Dutch and Feisty...a bonded pair of 10 year old sweethearts looking for a loving home together. They have spent their lives together, and their bond is special. Dutch, the handsome gentleman, is the leader of the duo, while Feisty is his devoted sidekick who loves to follow his lead. Together, they are a loving, cuddly pair who find comfort and happiness in each other. Both dogs are friendly with people and other dogs, and they aren't big barkers. They have wonderful, gentle personalities and would love a home where they can enjoy the simple pleasures of life: cozy naps, cuddles, companionship, and being loved. Sadly, their owner had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender them to PetRescue due to financial difficulties. It was clear these two had been very loved. When they arrived we treated them to a spa day to help them feel fresh, comfortable, and ready for their next chapter. At 10 years old, Dutch and Feisty deserve a soft place to land and a family who understands that love doesn't have an expiration date. They have spent 10 years side by side, and we hope they can spend their golden years the same way: together. Can you give Dutch and Feisty the happily ever after they deserve? Adopt Moose! 🐾 Moose is an adorable 2yr old Shih Tzu mix. He's a sweet, happy little guy with a heart that's ready for a fresh start. Although his past wasn't kind to him, he's looking ahead to a future filled with love, patience, and security. When Moose was found abandoned, his coat was so severely matted it was tangled tightly against his skin. It was heartbreaking to see the neglect he had endured, but despite everything, Moose hasn't let his past define him. He has a gentle spirit and is ready to trust the right family. Moose enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. While he'd be happy to have a canine companion, he'd also thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention. He's potty trained, loves his daily walks, and rarely passes up the chance to carry around a squeaky toy. Moose is incredibly food motivated, making him eager to learn, and he's already mastering commands like "sit." At the end of the day, his favorite place is curled up beside you on the couch, enjoying all the snuggles he can get. Because of the neglect he experienced, Moose can occasionally be sensitive to touch if he's startled or feeling unsure. He is looking for a patient, experienced, adult-only home that understands he may need a little extra time to build confidence and continue learning that he's finally safe.
