Story
Penny is a sweet and playful pup, just 8 weeks old when I got her from the pet store. She’s up to date on all of her shots, has been well cared for, and is kept groomed. She has a very loving personality—she enjoys walks, cuddles, and being with her people. She’s also great with kids and gets along well with my toddler. That said, Penny does need to be in a home where she’s the only dog. She has shown some food aggression with my senior dog and jealousy towards my special needs dog, so she would thrive best as the only pet where she can soak up all the attention. Other things to know about Penny: • Very energetic and playful (needs an active home). • Loves attention and companionship. • Can be nervous during thunder or heavy rain. • Requires regular grooming and care. Penny truly is a sweet girl who just needs the right home with someone who can give her the love, attention, and structure she deserves.

Meet Suzi 🌸🐾 My name is Suzi. I’m an adorable 15 pound Lhasa apso found as a stray with my friend Suri. We are not bonded but like each other a lot. I’m dog and kid friendly and would love another dog in my future home to cuddle with. I haven’t been tested with cats but I’m very timid and if a cat would snarl at me I would back away. I don’t like crates but will tolerate them. Who needs them anyway since I am potty trained. I prefer a dog bed on the floor. I’m an avid eater and love my afternoon fresh carrot stick. My friend and I can be adopted together or separately and would be a great addition to any family. He/She is heartworm positive but has already received the ProHeart-12 injection and is currently undergoing treatment. Will need a recheck in nine months to ensure he/she is on the path to full recovery. Adoption fee is: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
