Story
Buttercup is a gentle, low-key senior (+10) Shih Tzu who’s all about peace, quiet, and the sedentary life. She is looking for her (chill) human with whom she can spend the remaining years of her life. She is mostly blind and deaf. She had an eye removed and mammary tumors removed. Her foster says “she’s a special Buttercup.” She is sweet and chill. She is NOT destructive or a barker. She’s independent. Her ideal day would be relaxing on the couch next to you -you’ll need to help her up as she is not a jumper either. Buttercup is easy to manage. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained. She is also house trained as long as you stick to a consistent schedule, otherwise she’ll have an accident. She knows how to use a doggy doorbell and will nudge it with her nose to let you know she has to go out. She will also wear a diaper as long as you put it on while she is up and about. She’s great on a leash but is slow and doesn't like walks. She would rather relax by your side. She doesn’t care for toys but she loves blankets and bunching them up. She also loves to mix up where she sleeps and changes her spot every night. She is on a special diet of salmon and rice for her sensitive skin. She waits patiently for her food and even lets other dogs take their turn first. Buttercup likes treats and dental sticks. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate friend who will fill your days with quiet joy, Buttercup is ready to give you her whole heart. Her adoption fee is $100 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Adopted biscuit from Pet City. He’s just a little over 2 years old. Full birthdate is 4/26/2024. He is due for bordetella shot and his flea, tick, and heart worm prevention. We currently don’t have the funds to get those for him, as we’ve been catching up on medical bills since just having our son in August. He’s also cut short because we lack the time to care for him like we were before baby. very energetic, and pretty co-dependent. If you enjoy having someone hooked to your ankles and sitting in the couch with, he’s the cuddly guy for you. He’s under 15 lbs. He listens well and knows tricks. He doesn’t care for his leash, and we didn’t spend time training him so much on it, but he will sit nice while you attach it to his collar. We will give all items we have for him. We currently have a larger cage, because of an error on my end and not paying attention to the sizing when ordering. He has plenty of toys, treats, beds, blankets.
