Story
Betsy Lou is a 3 year old, 8.8 pound Lhasa Apso who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start the life she deserves. She was found running for her life alongside Ross on the Fourth of July after a kind Samaritan stepped in to rescue them. I love absolutely everybody I meet. You can definitely win me over with treats and I'll be your best friend. I am kennel and potty trained. I am still learning what a leash and harness are so please be patient. My brother Ross is my shadow, so we are a package deal. Ross: I am definitely more of a ladies man and enjoy all the cuddles. I take time to warm up to the gentlemen but can definitely be won over with food. I absolutely must keep my sister Betsy in my line of sight so I can look out for her. I am very opinionated and vocal about what I want. If you want a little alert buddy that would be me. I am still learning what a leash and harness are so please be patient with me. I am kennel and potty trained. My favorite thing is cuddles with my sister. Our favorite things are treats and naps on the sofa next to you. Betsy Adoption fee is: $400 Ross Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Story
Meet Ross Apso, a handsome 2-year-old Lhasa Apso mix weighing just 14.55 pounds of pure potential. His journey hasn't been an easy one, but his resilience shines brighter every day. On the Fourth of July, Ross Apso and his best friend were found wandering as strays until a kind-hearted Good Samaritan scooped them up and brought them to safety. Since then, they've been inseparable, and their bond is truly special. Because they rely on one another for comfort and confidence, they will need to be adopted together. I am definitely more of a ladies man and enjoy all the cuddles. I take time to warm up to the gentlemen but can definitely be won over with food. Story
Buttercup is a gentle, low-key senior (+10) Shih Tzu who’s all about peace, quiet, and the sedentary life. She is looking for her (chill) human with whom she can spend the remaining years of her life. She is mostly blind and deaf. She had an eye removed and mammary tumors removed. Her foster says “she’s a special Buttercup.” She is sweet and chill. She is NOT destructive or a barker. She’s independent. Her ideal day would be relaxing on the couch next to you -you’ll need to help her up as she is not a jumper either. Buttercup is easy to manage. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained. She is also house trained as long as you stick to a consistent schedule, otherwise she’ll have an accident. She knows how to use a doggy doorbell and will nudge it with her nose to let you know she has to go out. She will also wear a diaper as long as you put it on while she is up and about. She’s great on a leash but is slow and doesn't like walks. She would rather relax by your side. She doesn’t care for toys but she loves blankets and bunching them up. She also loves to mix up where she sleeps and changes her spot every night. She is on a special diet of salmon and rice for her sensitive skin. She waits patiently for her food and even lets other dogs take their turn first. Buttercup likes treats and dental sticks. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate friend who will fill your days with quiet joy, Buttercup is ready to give you her whole heart. Her adoption fee is $100 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
