Maine Coon kittens & cats in Poughkeepsie, New York

Gus is the sweetest boy. He came to us in June after being feral for 3 months, and he had just about every problem a kitten could have. It has been 7 months now, he was neutered 2 months ago (October), he’s been vaccinated and groomed and has really warmed up to us. He’s anxious for sure, but he really just wants someone to play with. My original cat really can’t stand him; she is growling, swatting, hissing, and hiding every day. She was used to being an only child, and is too small to play with our, probably Maine coon, boy (she’s 7#, he’s about 12#). He is quiet and loves to cuddle and be pet. He only meows once a day for food. He’s very playful and does not scratch or bite, aside from the inevitable once in a while when scared or annoyed. He is great when getting groomed and taking medication (he’s been on revolution consistently and monthly since June). He keeps himself clean, but had some potty training issues in the beginning. He seems to spray sometimes when scared still.

Nebula was surrendered when her owner had to move and was not allowed cats in her new home. She is bonded with Noelle Joy although she doesn't care for any other cats. She loves dogs. She is tentative but Noelle Joy helps her with her confidence. She likes to be around everyone once shes comfortable but prefers not to be picked up. She loves to be brushed but doesnt tolerate a lot of pets. She likes TV, treats and toys.

Meet Holland is a fluffy love muffin! ADORES her bro Germany! Fall is here in NY so we need to get our fosters OUT and into homes here! Holland and Germany - these 2 6-7m old gems have lived together their whole lives and WOW are they epic awesome. While Germany is the BIG personality and attention hogger (in a great way) with his sleek LO to NO shed coat and adorable cropped tail, Holland is the majestic floof with that sweet quieter yet equally snuggly personality. Sadly they initially were raised in a small cage and she had "swimmers legs" as a baby so her back legs have a little quirk to them but as she's aged she's gotten stronger - xrays show no issue btw. Both are incredible and a great duo for all families. Linus and Levi and bffs Thing and Uncle Fester - 6m old Tabby Van mixes - these hunka hunka lovers are so cute and friendly u will think they are dogs! They check off the boxes of what we love the most about orange boys - super delightful personalities, great with other pets and kids, and just healthy happy and soo soooo snuggly. Truly awesome and potential therapy cats too! Annabelle, Amelia, Adeline, Amber are all beautiful Maine Coon mix female felines from the same gentle natured family. There are also four beautiful males in their family. They have all been fully vetted, neutered/spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, combo tested negative for leukemia and FIV, flea and tick preventative given. They enjoy dry as well as canned cat and kitten food. Bobby is truly a wonderful cat. He will greet you when you come home and is very curious about the things you do. He loves naps next to you and in the sunshine. He is affectionate, likes to cuddle at night, and enjoys listening to you sing or calming music. He is very vocal and playful, dashing for treats and batting his toys around. He is a true lap-cat in every sense. He is tidy, uses the litter box, and scratch pad, and does not spray. His grooming habits are healthy. Does not shed but we still brush him. He is fixed, chipped, vaccinated and dewormed. We do not know much of his past history; we found him abandoned and left to fend for himself. He has been in our foster care for 12 months and in need of his forever home. Bobby would be an excellent companion for a single person, or family household with children that will respect him, and can provide him a strict indoor living place without other cats. He has a big personality that will fill your home with joy, laughter, and warmth.
