Story
I’m a playful, busy little guy who loves darting after toys, practicing my wrestling moves, and zooming around like a tiny ninja. Once I’ve tired myself out, I might hop into your lap for a quick catnap once we’ve become better acquainted. Even adventurers need to recharge their batteries! I’m looking for a home with a patient adopter who understands that I will need some time to adjust to my new surroundings. I’d also love a kitty friend in my new home, so I have a buddy to play and wrestle with! If you’re looking for a playful companion who’ll keep you entertained with my antics and maybe even warm your lap, I can’t wait to meet you! Est. DOB: October 11, 2024 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.

Story
Hi this is Chase! He is a very sweet and loving cat. We got Chase from the Wake County animal shelter when he was just a few months. Chase is the perfect name for him because he loves running around and is just a ball of energy. He’s also very sweet and calm. He loves to snuggle and get pets. We would love for him to go to a home that is experienced with owning cats and also may have dogs as he is good with dogs. He loves to scratch so having ample posts for him to scratch on is a must. His favorite texture to scratch on is carpet texture so having carpeted posts is great. Overall he is a good cat but we just can’t have him due to restrictions at our residence.

Story
This is Lady! She was found as a stray roaming around a restaurant in Durham. She’s around 10 months out now, and very playful! She’s a very sweet girl who loves attention and back rubs. She loves treats and Cat TV, but does not do well with dogs, as she is quite scared of them. She is a very feisty, funny little girl who would make an amazing pet!

Story
Ping is 28 years old and pretty healthy for her age. Recent bloodwork revealed everything ok but chronic kidney disease appropriate for her age. And she may be having a little blindness in left eye. She is a sweet sweet cat. She is a Siamese and Tabby mix. She was indoor/outdoors for many years in a rural area, but now is an indoor senior. She uses potty pads faithfully, instead of a litterbox. She would probably prefer not dealing with a dog !

Story
Have you ever driven that extra couple miles to get that really cool ice in a drink that you like? Ok, cool becasue then you might understand Lisa's obsession with ice. She and the refrigerator are in a daily face off as she waits for it to give up a piece of ice. She is obsessed. She must have her ice. It is her daily job other than snuggling. So Lisa would really like a home with an icemaker and a purrson willing to feed her ice obsession. Other than ice, she loves laps, snuggling, being held and all other animals. She enjoys being in a snuggle pile with her siblings (Leopold, Wendy and Shelley) - especially Leo. He doesn't make fun of her ice dealio and she appreciates that.  If you are interested in adopting Lisa, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Your application will be denied if you live further away. Approx DOB 04/21/2022 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##1493886##

Story
Greyfoot is a sweet girl who loves to play and climb all over the place. Nothing beats a cuddle though, particularly with her sister, Tiger. She’s a little bit skittish, at least compared to my extrovert sister, but he’ll open up if you’re patient. She’s a real momma’s girl too, so she’d love to be adopted with her mom, Grace, or her sister, Tiger. Story
This sweet and affectionate boy just wants to be your best friend. He’s not a fan of being held but he absolutely demands attention if you are sitting or laying down. He can be downright persistent at times. He loves face rubs, chin scratches, and full body pets. He even enjoys the fast, aggressive body rubs! It really doesn’t matter to him, as long as you’re giving him love. His favorite place to sleep is on or near a human. If that’s not available, he can be found cuddling with his siblings or under the window ledge sunning himself. He just seems to be happy if you’re around. He would be okay in a home with a dog. He has gotten used to the foster dog, who can be quite annoying and chase the cats when they’re running around. But if the dog is calm, then he doesn’t seem to mind too much and will lay on the couch with him. He also doesn’t have a problem letting the dog know to mind his own business if it gets too much. He likes all the foster cats he lives with, but the feeling isn’t always mutual. He may just have too much energy for the grumpy cats to deal with. He would be good with younger cats that match his energy. Apollo and his siblings enjoy chasing each other throughout the house and climbing on their wall jungle gym. He loves playing catch with toys but hasn’t learned to bring the toys back. Hoping he would have learned from the dog about this game. He has never met a stranger either. He will greet people at the door and immediately ask for attention. Sometimes he will make the cutest chirping noises as he wanders through the house looking for someone to play with him. He has never met children but would be great with all ages, even if they may be unintentionally a little rough with him. You will never have to worry about being alone in the bathroom either. He likes to lay in the bathroom sink to keep watch. Although, you can have fun with that and see how long it takes him to realize you turned the faucet on! He falls for it every.single.time. He also follows his namesake’s inclination to fire. The only time he was around a candle, he was completely enthralled by the flame. All the other cats understood the danger and stayed away from it. After almost burning his whiskers off, he decided to just use his paw to bat at the flame instead until the foster mom put it out. Needless to say, he should be supervised if candles or a fire in the fireplace are ever present in the home. If you like affectionate and adorable cats, then this little sun god would be perfect for you! If you are interested in adopting Apollo, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption.
