Breed, maybe Maltipoo Size, around 15 lbs Princess is a bit on the older side, at least 5ish? Calmer, sweet, good around other animals. Most likely not potty trained yet, as she's been in our kennels. Our amazing groomer Julie at Two Paws Up in Modesto groomed her for us, getting rid of all those yucky mats. Today she's going in to get spayed. Vetting is taking awhile right now. Shots spayed and microchipped, and recently groomed. Story
Say hello to our beautiful Bunny! She is an almost 2-year-old, 10 pound, scruffy, white and apricot, Maltese / Chihuahua mix . She has a twinkle in her eyes that will melt your heart! Bunny is a high energy girl and loves to play with toys and do solo zoomies throughout the Sanctuary. She needs an ACTIVE ADULT ONLY home where she will be walked and played with daily. She was surrendered to us because her family didn't have time for her and she spent most of her day in a crate. No dog deserves to live in a crate and Bunny is waiting to see how wonderful life is! She needs and deserves to be your best friend! Her favorite thing is to play with her person and this girl is silly for sure...she will keep a smile on your face! She LOVES all your attention and wants to be an only dog. Her favorite game is pouncing at you and trying to get you to chase her. For being such a playful girl, she really LOVES to cuddle her human. She would love to spend quality time watching TV or napping. She loves to sit in your lap or next to you. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash and is learning how to enjoy car rides. A few obedience classes and she will be ready to go anywhere you go. She will require occasional professional grooming. She is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Bunny is waiting for her new loving home. Story
Polly is a precious pup! She is a 3 ½ -month-old, 9 pound, white, Maltese / Poodle mix. This beautiful girl came to AFC with her housemate Paloma (also available for adoption) they are not related. Sadly, their owner fell and broke her hip and had to go into assisted living. Polly is a happy go lucky pup! She is very loving and affectionate. She is very active and enjoys playing with other dogs and toys! She will require another playful young dog and is great friends with Yogi, they would make a great pair. She will require regular professional grooming. She is a puppy and will require housetraining. She will require leash training when she’s old enough to be outside safely. She is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. She is microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Are you ready for some puppy love? Polly will delight you with her antics and will be a wonderful companion. Story
Cody and Molly are a sweet bonded pair who came to us after their mom passed away. They are kind, considerate and gentle little lambs. Cody is 28 lbs (needs to lose some weight!) and Molly is 13 lbs. Cody is 17 years young and Molly is 18 years young. They've been indoor dogs for a long time with little to no outdoor time and they're happy to enjoy the great outdoors, especially when it's sunny! These two really are the sweetest pair of buddies they look forward to spending forever and ever together. Cody came to us with bladder stones, had surgery and is now on a special diet to help prevent this from occurring again. Molly and Cody are a very sweet pair who don't ask for much, just a loving, warm and cozy home where they get to enjoy indoor and outdoor sunshine time together.
