Story
Knox came in to the shelter in very bad condition on the outside, but on the inside, this love-bug has a heart of gold. Even in the horrible condition of his fur, he had kisses for the staff and wanted to be held. He came in with another female who was also in bad condition. We immediately took him to the groomer and had all the hair stripped off. You can see in the "before" picture how bad he was. He and the female (Indie) seem very bonded and may be related, so we will try to adopt them together if possible. He had been seen wandering through parking lots in Stockton for a week before arriving, so we do not know where he was living before here. New owner should be prepared to work on house manners in case he hasn't had any prior training. The vet estimates he is between 1 and 3, so we settled on 2. Dog will need regular grooming in the future. $350.00 adoption will help us with the grooming, vaccinations, microchipping and neuter. Let's get this good boy a much better home. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Meet Cloonie, a cuddly and playful Pug and Maltipoo mix pup born on April 16, 2025. Weighing in at 22 lbs, this cutie is a great size for playtime and lovings. Cloonie found his way to us because his youthful puppy energy was simply too playful for his previous owner's senior dog, so he is now searching for a home that matches his zest for life. He is a friendly, social boy who is wonderful with children as young as three years old, making him an excellent addition to a family. Potential adopters should be prepared to offer Cloonie some extra patience and consistency, as he still needs work on his house training. He is currently vaccinated and microchipped, and his adoption fee is $350. Cloonie is scheduled to be neutered on February 18th and will be ready to head to his forever home the very next day on February 19th. Apply for Cloonie at www.petsnpals.org! Story
Hello, this is my dog Rocky. He is a Maltese mixed with shihtzu. He just turned a year old January 3rd. He is a very playful, energetic and loving pet. Rocky loves to play tug of war, fetch and cuddle at night. When his hair grows out he is a fluffy teddy bear. He gets along with kids, cats and other dogs. I am looking for a good home one that will love him and give him the affection and attention that he needs.

Story
Abby is a 11 year old female Maltese Bichon-Frise mix. Abby is super sweet, friendly, intelligent, and loves scratches. She does well with kids, other dogs and cats. We are looking to rehome our beloved Abby because her owners (my parent in laws) are getting older and it is becoming too difficult to properly care for her.

Story
Chewy  is an incredibly sweet and mellow little guy. He adores being petted and uses his whole body to show his appreciation. His favorite place is snuggled up next to his people anytime they sit or lie down. I can't say enough about how lovely and good a boy he is.  Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  Mostly. We are primarily using belly bands, and he stays dry inside and knows what to do outside. He may need some patience and support as he acclimates to a new home and new routine. Describe how they are on a leash?  Walks beautifully on a leash - heels well, doesn't pull, and is happy to go as long as you're able. Not reactive to other dogs or squirrels he encounters on his walks.  Describe how they are with other dogs?  Gets along very well with our three small resident dogs—patient, gentle, and non-reactive. We keep them separate at feeding time because he is highly food-motivated. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  He met one cate and ignored him. I suspect he would be fine living with a cat in the home. Does not seem interested in chasing squirrels. Commands they know?  Comes when called, goes potty when asked, and does a sweet little dance when his meals are served. What are their favorite things?  Snuggles, pets, love, and food.  What do they need to work on?  Potty training. He is a pretty perfect little gentleman. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Chewy is crate-trained and snuggles up in his crate with his blanket when we need to leave the house. He will bark or react to noise, like our resident dogs, but he calms down quickly. Where do they sleep?  Chewy is happiest snuggled up with his people. He would love to find a home where he is welcome in the big bed. What is their ideal home?  Chewy would do well in a home with lots of love, attention, and regular walks. He is very patient and gentle with kids, visitors, and other dogs. He loves being close to his people, getting lots of pets, and being told what a good boy he is. He is a wonderful companion and will bring lots of joy to his forever family. Chewy is 7 years old and 8 pounds. Our Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs, please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt  and we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram   January 3, 2026, 8:37 pm
