Story
Meet Cloonie, a cuddly and playful Pug and Maltipoo mix pup born on April 16, 2025. Weighing in at 22 lbs, this cutie is a great size for playtime. Cloonie found his way to us because his youthful puppy energy was simply too playful for his previous owner's senior dog, so he is now searching for a home that matches his zest for life. He is a friendly, social boy who is wonderful with children as young as three years old, making him an excellent addition to a family. Potential adopters should be prepared to offer Cloonie some extra patience and consistency, as he still needs work on his house training. He is currently vaccinated and microchipped, and his adoption fee is $350. Cloonie is neutered and is ready to head to his forever home. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
✨ Meet Nova ✨ Nova is a beautiful 2–3 year old female who came to us straight off the streets of Visalia. When she first arrived, she was completely shut down—scared, unsure, and clearly used to having to fend for herself. With time, patience, and love, Nova has already come such a long way. She’s still a bit timid at first, but once she knows you’re safe, her sweet and loving personality shines through. She truly just needs someone willing to go slow and let her build trust at her own pace. 🐾 About Nova: • Crate trained • Walks well on leash • Still working on house training • Good with other dogs • Does well with our outdoor cats • Best suited for a home with no young children, as new things can make her nervous Nova doesn’t want to fight anymore. She’s ready for a calm, patient home where she can finally feel safe and loved. With the right person, she is going to be an incredibly loyal and gentle companion. If you feel like you might be the one to give Nova the time, patience, and love she deserves, we would love for you to meet her. 📧 Email: pawsforjuliarescue@gmail.com 📱 Text: (209) 447-7666 Let’s help Nova find her forever 💕

Story
Please meet our newest addition to our Umbrella of Hope Rescue: Mooncalf FANTASTIC BEASTS!! We are asking for your help for this sweet 12 yr old senior girl who has already endured more than her fair share of medical challenges.   When she arrived in our care, her diabetes was completely uncontrolled. Her blood glucose levels were so high they were literally off the charts and unable to register. To give her the chance at a comfortable, healthy life, she will require insulin injections under the skin twice a day for the rest of her life.   But diabetes is only one of her many medical concerns. She also suffers from KCS (dry eye) in both eyes, a painful condition that requires specialized eye medication twice daily to keep her comfortable and preserve her vision. Her skin is in horrible condition as you can see in the photos. On top of that, she has a mammary mass and several other age-related medical issues that we are continuing to evaluate and treat.   Despite everything she has been through, she remains sweet, gentle, and trusting. She deserves the chance to spend her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and proper medical care. The costs of her ongoing treatment, medications, diagnostics, and veterinary care add up quickly, but we are committed to giving her the quality of life she deserves. We simply can't do it without your support.   Please consider making a donation today. Every dollar helps provide insulin, prescription eye drops, veterinary visits, and the specialized care this precious senior girl needs. Ways to donate:   Send a check/money order to UOH 4040 Railroad Ave, Pittsuburg CA 94565 Venmo @Umbrellaof-HopeResuce Paypay Beourpet@gmail.com Zelle Beourpet@gmail.com Together, we can help her enjoy the healthy, happy life she has always deserved. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet.  Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.   We thank Well Pet Vet Clinic for providing most of our veterinary services and give a special thanks to volunteer photographers Tanya, Barbara, Kristy, Christine, Teressa and Natalie.  We are on all social media at @umbrellaofhope and we invite you to follow us and share which helps more people see and adopt our pets.  To help our ALL VOLUNTEER team rescue more senior, special needs, medically needy and hospice animals (and a few 'typical' ones along the way, please consider making a tax-deductible (TAX ID 45-4103375) donation online at www.paypal.me/UOH or Venmo @umbrellaof-hoperescue or Zelle beourpet@gmail.com.   You can also buy tees, tanks. sweatshirts, hats and bandannas where all proceeds benefit our animals https://ruff-life-rescue-wear.myshopify.com/collections/umbrella-of-hope We also have an Etsy store where the merchandise is made by volunteers and supporters, changes regularly and 100% of the proceeds benefit our medical fund https://www.etsy.com/shop/Umbrellaofhope Amazon Wish List tinyurl.com/pineapplewish  July 27, 2026, 1:19 pm

Story
🤍 Meet Angel Eyes 🤍Angel Eyes is a sweet 1-2-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix weighing about 16 pounds.🏡 His Ideal Home✔️ Patient, experienced adopters who understand shy rescue dogs✔️ Committed to positive reinforcement, routine, and continued training✔️ Willing to work through a learning curve with potty training and house manners✔️ Older, gentle children (10+) who understand how to respect a dog's space❤️ Things to KnowAngel Eyes can become stressed or nippy when frightened in unfamiliar situations (especially at the veterinarian or groomer). He needs a family that understands he needs guidance and is committed to helping him build confidence through calm leadership, desensitization, and patience. With the right home, Angel Eyes blossoms into a loving, affectionate, and easygoing companion. He adores other dogs, does well with cats, and loves his people. He enjoys playing with his dog friends but is also happy curling up for cuddles with the people he trusts most.🐾 His StoryWhen Angel Eyes arrived, he was severely matted with foxtails embedded throughout his coat, ears, and even his groin. The painful mats and infections made grooming and veterinary care understandably terrifying for him. His reactions were rooted in fear and pain—not aggression. Now that he's healthy and comfortable, his sweet personality shines through more every day.✂️ Grooming RequirementMaltese/Poodle mixes require professional grooming every 4-6 weeks. Without routine grooming, their coats become painfully matted, trap debris like foxtails, and lead to skin infections. Regular grooming is an essential part of keeping Angel Eyes healthy and comfortable.Overall, Angel Eyes is an affectionate, playful little dog who loves people, dogs, and cats. He's ready to leave his past behind and find a family who will love him, care for him, and continue helping him grow into the confident little dog he's meant to be.❤️ To be considered for adoption, please submit a detailed application at www.K9ppr.org. Detailed applications are required to help ensure the best possible match for both our dogs and their new families.July 30, 2026, 5:09 pm
