Story
Peanut is a sweet little boy who wants cuddles all the time and to play with people. He doesn’t like small children and given he only weighs 4 pounds, we are looking for homes with older children. He can get territorial with his space and growl and snap at larger dogs. He will need to be in a home with another dog who can de-escalate the situation or be the only pet in the home.

Story
Pastel is a senior maltipoo mix around 11 years old. He's a little timid at first. He seems to trust the instincts of other dogs to tell who's a good human. Pastel is looking for his forever home with a family that can take it slow at first. He's so gentle and loves to snuggle other dogs. Pastel would do best in a home with another small dog to learn the ways. Come see if Pastel is your family's perfect new addition! Located in Greeley.

Story
What is there to say about Marti? So much! This sweet little lady is still a puppy herself. She came into rescue as a young mama with three puppies, all of them had come from a hoarding case in Texas.  Now that she’s finished raising her babies, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and loved in a forever home. Marti is playful, affectionate, and happiest when she’s with her people or her dog friends. She loves playing with the other small dogs in her foster home and is just as happy curling up for cuddles with her foster mom and foster sister after playtime. She’s already potty trained, crate trained, and is learning what it means to simply be a carefree dog. Marti can be a little timid around new people and will need a patient family willing to give her time to settle in and build confidence. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into the sweetest little angel. While she hasn’t been introduced to children yet, her foster believes she could do well with respectful older children after a slow, thoughtful introduction. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who deserves a second chance at simply being someone’s beloved best friend, Marti is ready to fill your home—and your heart—with joy. If you are interested in adopting Marti, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2785927##

Story
Jade is an adorable ball of cottony cuteness that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wag and a kiss. What isn't clear in these shelter photos is how truly beautiful this puppy is with her stunning apricot coat and sweet as can be smile. When Jade looks at you with her gorgeous dark eyes, it's impossible not to fall deeply in love! Jade is every bit the sweet puppy, fun-loving, active and so silly! At the same time this sweet baby is a happy-go-lucky girl who expresses herself with her wagging tail and excited kisses of love once she feels comfortable in her environment. Farfel's Rescue would like to see Jade in a home where she'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and tons of loving hugs. Positive reinforcement / force free virtual or in-person training classes promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence for a puppy whose self-esteem will fly high while she masters her skills. Farfel's feels so strongly about a training opportunity for every dog that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't choose to make this loving choice. We are happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person positive reinforcement trainers in your area. Jade has a gorgeous non-shedding apricot coat that is currently shelter-sad. Her forever family will need to make a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming (approximately every 8 - 10 weeks) and excellent nutrition . Current research is clear that the best diet for coat care and general health / longevity is a fresh, human grade diet. Farfel's recommends Chi Diet (chidog.com) for the long, healthy life of your dog. Right now, Jade is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved and most cuddly dog around. She bonds easily and would love nothing more than to be a full-time best friend - neighborhood walks, trips to the store (she'll be a great window-shopping friend), couch-sitting and backyard fun would be just right for Jade as she grows and becomes more and more comfortable in her new life. This precious puppy is flexible enough that she can be introduced to virtually any situation and if there is love and gentle guidance, she can succeed. Jade's new family must have the motivation, energy and open heart for a young rescue dog. She requires behavioral guidance with boundaries and tons of love to give her a positive outlook on her world. Our sweet Jade would be overjoyed with a family that spends lots of time at home during the day. She would love nothing more than to be a best companion for daytime walks, cuddling and outdoor play. A family that works full time hours outside of the home wouldn't be a match for this sweetie as she's too sensitive for that type of arrangement. Jade has been fully vetted and vaccinated to support Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. She has also been spayed to honor our work for a euthanasia-free future in the canine population. Jade is arriving on transport in Boulder on Wednesday 8/5/2026. Applications are currently being accepted for our sweet as can be puppy. If interested in this very cuddly and loving best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. ** PLEASE NOTE ** If you're truly interested in adopting Jade, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Luna is a wonderful little companion who does extremely well on a leash. She loves being an only dog but has done well with other small breed dogs. Luna is currently on a diet since she could stand to lose a pound or two. She does have a heart murmur and will be seeing the cardiologist prior to adoption. She is housetrained as well as puppy pad trained. She loves to play with toys and is a funny little companion with a big personality.
