Despite the neglect she once endured, this trusting, affectionate girl has chosen to love fully and fearlessly. She’s living proof that kindness and compassion can help even the most wounded hearts bloom again. Oceana has been through an incredible healing journey. She came to us in rough shape, but with dedicated vet care, she’s made a radiant comeback. Story
He was originally a shelter dog adopted by a couple after the husband got ill they gave him up and we ended up with him. He learned to understand English and we have him about 8 years now. The health issues between myself and my husband make it difficult to care for Teddy and he has started to have peeing issues on my molding and other kitchen items

Story
Missy is a senior shih tzu who unfortunately needs to be rehomed due to her owner's living situation.  She is friendly and outgoing, good with all people and most other dogs too.  About 17 pounds.  Missy loves to cuddle and likes to sit outside to sunbathe.  She is relatively quiet and used to living in an apartment.   Fabulous senior companion! Missy is currently in our direct from owner adoption program. She is already spayed but will need to be brought up to date on her vaccines and testing.  There will be no adoption fee (but donations to the rescue are appreciated).   Chesed Rescue will be accepting applications for Missy and running background and vet checks.  We are looking for stable homes who will make a commitment to Missy for the rest of her life.   Applications for Missy are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptionsApril 18, 2025, 4:01 pm
