A proud member of the **Grey Whisker Club**, he’s the perfect blend of calm and playful. This sweet dog *lives* for naps and cuddles, and he’ll never turn down a good petting session. He’s leash trained, enjoys getting out for exercise, and absolutely adores spending time outdoors. Whether he’s trotting along on a walk, playing with his favorite toys, or hopping into the car for a ride, Meeko is always ready for his next little adventure. Of course, treats are one of his greatest joys, and he’ll happily show off his good manners to earn one. Story
**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT. YOU MUST LIVE IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Tassie: A Tiny Spirit Full of Light  Welcome, Tassie, a seven-month-old Maltese–Poodle (Maltipoo) puppy with a heart as big as her adorable eight-pound frame! This hypoallergenic little angel is bursting with personality and joy. Tassie loves to be where the action is, always ready to join in the fun, toss her toy your way, and soak up your affection. Though she came to us with an eye injury that required removal, Tassie hasn’t let it dim her spirit one bit. She faces every day with the same enthusiasm and curiosity as any puppy, reminding us that resilience can shine brighter than any challenge. Tassie is learning her potty routine and doing wonderfully for her age. She’ll need a family with time and patience to continue her training and help her grow into her best self. Regular grooming every 4–6 weeks will keep her soft coat shining and comfortable. Tassie is an active pup who enjoys wrestling with her foster pals and getting her steps in for fitness. She would thrive in a loving home where she can stay close to her people. Someone who delights in the little moments, like a warm cuddle or a wagging tail that greets you at the door. Tassie is ready to share her sparkle, laughter, and unconditional love with her forever family, who will keep her mentally and physically stimulated. This dog's adoption fee is $650 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). If you are interested, please fill out the adoption application. For additional information regarding our adoption process, please check our FAQ's Page.   *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. Story
I came to Big Dog Ranch as a breeder release after spending my whole life in heartbreaking conditions, used over and over for puppies and rarely touched with kindness. I don’t know what it feels like to be part of a family, and I’ve never even had a leash clipped onto me. The world outside my cage is completely new and sometimes scary. It may take me months to understand that hands can be gentle and homes can be safe, but deep down I’m hoping someone will give me the patience and love I’ve never had. With the right person, I know I can finally learn what it means to be more than a number… to be loved.
