My name is Kirby and I would like to tell you my story. It started out sad as I was a stray but the middle parts are great. I'm about 8-10 years old. I was found as a stray and nobody knew who my Owners were. I went to a shelter. Let's just say I was a HOT MESS! I didn't get groomed in a long time. I had a hard time walking because I had so much hair. If it was the 60's you could say I looked like a Hippie ... hee hee! I am all settled in my foster home. There's other doggies and kitties that live here and I'm great with all of them. But there's one special pooch that is my BF. Well, okay let's call her my girlfriend. Her name is Sadie and she's a bit older than me. Sadie and I are like Peas n Carrotts! So, we are hoping we go together to our forever home. My Doggie Vet is not sure on my true age because I have only 2 teeth to guess by but I'm pretty playful. I love to go outside and run around with the other dogs. I have my favorite spots in the yard and of course inside my favorite spot is my doggie bed. Well, not really mine as I share my doggie bed with Sadie. I'm not the greatest in the potty training department. My Foster Mom thinks when I lived with my other owner I was allowed to go anywhere so I do mark. If you catch me and say "Kirby, no" I know I have to go outside which is weird because I love going outside! I know adopting two dogs together might be a challenge but think about it this way. Two dogs that are small really isn't trouble. I take care of Sadie and Sadie takes care of me. So, you'll be taking care of the Sadie-Kirby team. BTW Sadie only weighs 3#s. My Rescuers tell me one day I am going to have a family that will love me forever. They will take good care of me and when it comes to me going to the Groomers I don't have to worry about looking like a Hippie again. I like my handsome look, don't you? When I went to the Groomers the nice lady says I sat very well. So come on out to my foster home and come meet me & my GF, Sadie. We will be hanging out. Being cute. Cheers! Kirby Kirby is located in our foster home in Aurora. He and Sadie are bonded and need to be adopted together.
