Ever wanted a 4lb dog with permanent “I’ve seen things” eyes, zero concept of personal space, and an emotional support requirement that involves being held like a baby and told he’s pretty every five minutes? Meet Stoney. Stoney is a certified soul-starer who takes his job very seriously. He prefers close contact (closer… no closer than that), thrives on reassurance, and will happily make himself your responsibility in the most endearing way possible. Equal parts unhinged and lovable, he’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just steal your heart — he clings to it. If you’re looking for a little dog with big feelings, expressive eyes, and a strong desire to be adored at all times… well, I’ve got one for you. His adoption fee your $400 includes his neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention, and a microchip. Visit www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com to apply to adopt him today!

Story
Melbourne makes an entrance. This 13-lb, 4-year-old Maltese mix is jaunty, goofy, and packed with personality. He’s got bubble eyes, a confident little strut, and the kind of expressive face that suggests he’s always in on the joke. Melbourne likes people, gets along with other dogs and cats, and appreciates a quiet home where he can take a little time to warm up and settle in. Once he does, he’s loyal, charming, and endlessly entertaining. He enjoys using his voice from time to time, so apartments or close-quarters living aren’t the best fit. What is a great fit? Someone who loves a small dog with big expressions, playful confidence, and a cheeky spark. Melbourne is ready to steal hearts — possibly yours. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. Story
Meet Khloe! This little Maltese lady somehow looks like a literal baby doll. Khloe spent her ENTIRE life with one family, but as time passed, kids grew, and Khloe aged, they felt they could no longer care for her. So here she is, starting over in her golden years. It’s easy to see that her heart is a bit broken, but she's settled into her foster home beautifully. Khloe's foster mom describes her as the sweetest, gentlest, most demure and unassuming little princess. A true sleeping beauty, she happily curls up and naps the majority of each day. Initially a bit hesitant about venturing into the yard, she now enjoys sniffing around and exploring. She’s a picky eater but has made her preferences clear: Greenies, string cheese, and fish are excellent. Kibble, canned food, and meds? Absolutely not. Freeze-dried food remains under consideration. Khloe is pee-pad trained, sleeps straight through the night, and is happiest buried under a mountain of blankets. She doesn’t do stairs, isn’t into walks just yet (maybe when it’s warmer), and has never been crate trained ~ but when left alone, she simply curls up on her bed and has a good snooze while she waits for her humans to come back. Khloe has hypothyroidism and, like many white fluffy royal pups, struggles with allergies that haven’t been well controlled. We’ve already started her on a fresh, allergy-friendlier diet and we’ve given her a proper medicated spa bath (which she handled like the quiet, gentle angel she is). Add a brand-new sweater and she’s serving soft reboot. This quiet, sweet girl deserves all the love and all the soft sweaters. She is looking for a calm, patient home that will let her move at her own pace and remind her that she is safe, loved, and home again. Khloe is approximately 12 years old and 9 lbs. More details as we get to know her better. Fostered in Great Falls, VA Please apply at MirisHaven.org

Story
Popcorn is about 18 lbs., 15 years old and according to Google lens, a West highland terrier. Animal Care Services thought he was a Maltese mix and foster mom thinks he could be a Schnauzer/Maltese mix but knows for sure that he is the cutest scruffy EVER! His journey hasn't been all snuggles and treats as he lived on someone's apartment patio for years, lying in poop, grass and other debris until Animal Care Services came for him and God's Dogs Rescue was able to save the little scamp. While he still loves his humans, other gentle pups his size (cats unknown) and his squishy toys and chewy, understandably he has a few emotional scars especially regarding vet visits and grooming. Slow, patient progress in these areas has helped him be more confident, but will need a patient adopter to help him adapt. Things that make Popcorn super happy are spending time with his humans after he gets to know them, car rides and walks in the park. He loves, loves his squishy toys and generally carries one around with him. His most favorite game is for his person to chase him and pretend to take his squishy away. He also like to run zooms and if there isn't a person to play with he will often throw his toys for himself. Doesn't that just make you want to throw his stuffies so he can play?? He's a healthy guy for his age with just a few old man issues (beginnings of cataracts) that he takes supplements for and should continue taking. His liver enzymes were high when tested but he is on a med to help them normalize. Can you give this boy the right lap to live in?? He needs very patient/knowledgeable adopters, no children- adult only because he will bite if afraid... It is a work in progress but he is becoming the goofy boy he was meant to be while living on the nasty hot and freezing porch for most of his 14 yrs :( GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
