Meet Jake! No senior should have to spend any time in a shelter and especially not this sweet little guy! Jake is estimated to be 8 to 10 years old, weighs 13 pounds and is a Maltese. His owner fell on hard times and found herself homeless and could no longer care for Jake and we couldn't leave him at a local shelter. Jake is a very handsome and curious boy who would love nothing more than a cozy bed to curl up in and someone to love and pamper him through his senior years. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. I was found wandering in a neighborhood, with a bad eye :( And that was my lucky day!! I was saved by a nice lady and her family and they are fostering me! So you may notice that I had surgery and my bad eye was removed.... i will make an EXCELLENT PIrAte for Halloween!! My foster family loves me, I am great with their children, cats and other dogs... I am almost completely potty trained and I am kind of a silly girl. I am about 13# full grown and cute as a button! Melbourne likes people, gets along with other dogs and cats, and appreciates a quiet home where he can take a little time to warm up and settle in. Once he does, he’s loyal, charming, and endlessly entertaining. He enjoys using his voice from time to time, so apartments or close-quarters living aren’t the best fit. What is a great fit?
