Patches is an independent little Yorkie Maltese mix with a super sweet heart. He enjoys affection and cuddles, but he also appreciates having his own space and time to do his thing. He’s the perfect balance of loving and self sufficient. Patches can be a little shy at first, but once he settles in, his gentle personality really shines. He does great with other dogs, enjoys playtime, and loves his toys. He’s playful without being over the top and fits nicely into a calm, loving home. He is currently working on house training in his foster home and improving every day, but he is not completely house trained yet. With consistency and patience, he’ll continue to make great progress. They wouldn’t be returning, but maybe this place wasn’t so bad. Harlee is has a tentative sweetness and a body carrying a few extra pounds from a life that once had more routine than it does now. He absolutely loves being pet and snuggling with his humans - he's happiest curled up in a lap. He is neutered, housebroken, polite on leash, gentle with the other dogs, and familiar with the quiet presence of cats.
