Story
Piper is a 12 year young Maltese/Yorkie X that was picked up as a stray.  Her name should really be Pepper, as she has a lot of energy stored up in her little 2 kg body.  She  loves everyone she meets and rushes over to greet them, dancing on her 2 hind feet.  She loves her 2 foster siblings and often tries to get them to play with her.  Sometimes she succeeds and it is a joy to watch.    Piper has been fully vetted, is spayed, up to date on her shots and has had dental work where they had to remove the rest of her teeth.  Unfortunately, the dental disease was so bad that the jaw bone was eaten through.  This has not stopped her in any way, and the vet   feels that it will heal to some degree over time.  She is on a soft food diet, and will be for the rest of her life.  Teeth or no teeth, Piper has an excellent appetite.   Piper is fully housetrained and will go to the door to be let out.  Once outside, she quickly does her business and then tries to get you to chase her around the yard.  Any opportunity to go outside is a bonus for her.   Piper walks well on a leash and can walk for quite a distance.  She does like to stop from time to time taking in the new smells in the neighborhood.  Piper travels well in the car checking out the world through the window. The only time she barks is to alert you if she hears something or one of her siblings barks.  A little praise and she quickly stops.   One of Piper's favorite pass times is sitting either on or beside her person.  She sleeps in  the foster parent's bed, curled right up against them.  She sleeps through the night and goes right to the door to be let out.   Because of Piper's size and age, a family with young children would not be good placement for Piper.  She loves to be the centre of attention but would get along with other small dogs.  She has not been around cats since coming to the rescue.  April 27, 2024, 1:31 pm

Story
Mango was found as a stray by a local rescue in South Korea. It wasn't safe living on the streets so the rescue took her to be fostered. Vet soon realized her back knee required surgery and was immediately done. Mango has fully recovered and even got her teeth cleaned. Mango is a Maltese mix, 7 years old, female, friendly but shy with men, good with dogs, fine with cats, and simply needs a forever home. She is spayed, microchipped, utd vaccinations, dewormed, and comes with a vet Health Certificate. If interested, please email dcdgavel@gmail.com for an adoption application.
