Looking for the ultimate cuddle buddy with a playful spark? Meet Tessa! This adorable 3-year-old Maltipoo weighs just 11.6 pounds, but her personality is full of love, fun, and sweetness. Tessa is the total package—she’s house-trained, crate-trained, and walks like a pro on a leash. She gets along great with other dogs and even does well with cats (as long as they’re not tempting her to chase with a game of tag!). She’s equal parts snuggler and playmate. Tessa absolutely loves to run and play, especially with a furry friend, so she’s hoping for a home with a fenced yard and maybe even a canine companion to share her adventures. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up and be your little “lap dog.” Tessa was once part of a loving home, but life circumstances changed when her owner’s family faced serious health challenges. Though she was well cared for and deeply loved, Tessa is now looking for a home where she can once again be a priority—ideally with someone who is home often and ready to shower her with attention. Her foster says it best: she’s perfect. For inquiries email susannah@compactcaninerescue.org Fee: $600 Location: Norfolk, VA Tony is new in rescue. He was surrendered on Monday afternoon. He is a 3 year old, 12 pound, Maltese (mix). Tony saw the vet today (3/24) for his neuter and dental. He was also microchipped and given all his vaccines; so, he is ready for adoption once he heals. So far he has been a good boy. His house manners have been good as well. While we never guarantee a dog is fully house trained upon adoption, he seems to know what to do. Tony has lived with another dog previously and will be in a home with other resident foster siblings. He will be slowly introduced to them as he gets acclimated.
