Story
***Yoshi is not in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes, we are assisting his owner on finding him a new loving home at no fault of Yoshi's. If you are interested in Yoshi, please fill out an application here: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform ** (Please read his full bio first. He will need a very specific adopter) Meet Yoshi! 🐶✨ A 6-year-old Maltese–Bichon with big personality, big feelings, and an even bigger love of snuggles (on his terms). 🎾 Throws his own ball like a self-entertaining pro 🍩 Spins into a happy “donut curl” when excited 🧸 Loves calm, one-on-one snuggle time ☀️ Sunbathes like it’s his full-time job 🎬 Perfect movie-night companion 💛 Why he’s being rehomed Yoshi was adopted five years ago when his person worked from home, but life has changed—his owner is now a touring musician who is often away and frequently moving. The constant change and lack of stability has been very stressful for Yoshi, especially given his anxiety and sensitivity to new people. 🧠 Personality & needs Yoshi is sweet and goofy in a calm home, but: 👥 Very reactive to multiple people 🚫 Not suitable for kids ⚠️ Food/resource guarding 🧍‍♂️ Does best with one trusted person and predictable routine He can relax, snuggle, and be playful when life is quiet and structured. ⚠️ Health & behavior Resource guarding, anxiety, reactivity Hip dysplasia (managed with supplements) Sensitive stomach Currently only on glucosamine 💌 Ideal home One calm, consistent adult Low-stimulation environment Experience with or patience for behavior needs Yoshi isn’t an easy dog—but with the right person, he’s a deeply loyal, funny, and affectionate little companion 💛

Story
Meet Chino! Chino is a 4-year-old Maltese looking for a calm, patient home where he can be someone’s one and only. This little guy is learning what it means to be loved and cherished — and while he may be shy at first, once you earn his trust, he’ll give you his whole heart. Watch his video here and come back to read more about him! https://youtu.be/7dnuzhZ3kR4 Chino is still getting used to affection, so he needs someone who understands that trust takes time. He would thrive with a single person or older adult who has prior dog experience and can offer consistency, quiet, and love. Once he feels safe, he’ll be your faithful lap dog — content just being near you. He walks well on a leash, is treat-motivated (especially when cheese is involved!), and is working hard to be on his best behavior to earn your affection. Chino lives in a home with small dogs like him and BIG dogs too. He is a not playful with any of his foster dog brothers. He prefers to lay in bed with his person and lap up all the affection and love. When his foster dad comes home he runs up to his leg and paws for attention. If you have a soft heart, a patient spirit, and an open lap, Chino may just be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for. Email Stephanie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!   Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.   https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https:// www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue   Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Eddie 11 lbs | 10 years young | Neutered | Microchipped | House Trained Don’t let his tiny size fool you, Eddie has a huge personality packed into his little 11 pound body. With one ear that has a mind of its own and an endless supply of charm, he’s impossible not to love. Eddie is the definition of a loyal companion. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, settling in on the couch, or gearing up for ball time, he’s happiest by your side. And don’t be fooled when it’s time to play ball, Eddie means business! He takes fetch very seriously and will enthusiastically let you know when it’s time for another throw. He’s a world class cuddler who absolutely loves being petted, enjoys being carried, loves his daily adventures, and never says no to a tasty treat. While he’s confident and independent, he also enjoys curling up close anytime of the day and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. Eddie would do best in a quiet, predictable home where he can continue to thrive. He gets along well with small dogs and dog savvy cats but prefers not to share his space with large dogs.Because he values his personal space, he’s looking for an adult only home without young children or frequent visits from them. Eddie has overcome so much during his time in foster care. After learning that people can be trusted, he’s blossomed into a loving, affectionate little guy. Like many dogs with difficult pasts, he communicates through his body language and benefits from people who understand and respect his boundaries. He does have a fear based bite history, so he’ll need an experienced adopter who is committed to continuing the structure and training that help him feel safe and successful. Eddie does require ongoing medical care and a special diet, but his daily routine is wonderfully simple. He takes one medication and one supplement each day and he takes them like an absolute champ! Eddie’s perfect home includes: Someone patient who will let him adjust at his own pace A safe space, such as a wire crate, where he can relax Lots of love, understanding, and plenty of walks, games of fetch, cuddles, pets, and being carried around like the little prince he is Eddie isn’t looking for a perfect family, he’s looking for the right family. Someone who will see beyond his past, appreciate his quirky personality, and love him exactly as he is. If you’re ready for a sweet, devoted best friend who will make you smile every single day, Eddie is ready to meet you. ##2249906##

Story
Meet Leia! We don't know much about early in her life, but her previous owners moved to housing that did not allow them to take her along. They thought that Leia may have been used for breeding before they got her, but she is fixed now and ready to be part of your family. Leia, although vocal, is very friendly with people and does well with gentle children. Her estimated birthdate is in 2016, but she is still a lively dog. She is being monitored for a heart murmur, but currently does not require medication to treat it. We have not seen her interact with cats, but she may enjoy having a small canine friend. Leia needs a securely fenced yard with no gaps 4" or larger for her safety. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) July 16, 2026, 12:10 pm
