Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. SnowLake Snow Lake is Washington's most beloved wilderness trail. That said, we think this SnowLake was aptly named. This girl is calm, gentle, and deeply, completely devoted to her people. She tends to show up wherever you are, tucks herself in close, and makes herself at home. Doing chores? She'll follow along. Working at your desk? She'll be in your lap before you've even opened your laptop. She fell asleep on her foster mom so consistently that she now just permanently holds her. This is the effect Snowlake has on people, and there is no known cure. She does have some feelings about personal space. Specifically, she'd prefer there be none. She can get a tad anxious when she can't see you, so a home where someone is around often (or always) would be her dream scenario. And while we’re talking preferences, she also has a strong desire to sleep in the bed. She's not demanding about much, but she’s firm on this point. As far as potty training goes, she's consistently heading outside for pee, and poops are becoming more regular, too, though she does prefer a little privacy (a reasonable ask, we think). She's met other dogs and kids on walks and handled both with curiosity. Like Snow Lake itself, this pup is going to make the person who “finds” her feel very, very lucky. -----  A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters: Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:  ✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.  ✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).  ✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.  The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.  Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.  Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
