You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. Pamela is a playful, affectionate girl with a heart full of love and energy to share. She is working on learning commands and becoming a very well behaved young pup. Marshmallow was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs are kept for production rather than loved as companions. After spending years in an environment where comfort, affection, and individual care were never guaranteed, Marshmallow is finally safe and has the opportunity to begin a completely new chapter. At only 5 lbs, Marshmallow is an incredibly tiny little boy who deserves all the comforts he missed out on before — a warm bed, a safe home, and a family who will give him the patience and love he needs as he adjusts to his new life. Sailor is a 9-year-old Maltese with the cutest little face and a very independent personality. She sleeps on the bed with her foster family and their dogs every night. Sailor is a quiet girl who prefers to keep to herself. She’ll happily come over for a tasty treat or meal, but she isn’t looking for cuddles and will often retreat to her favorite quiet corner afterward. She gets along with other dogs, but isn’t a big fan of play. She does enjoy relaxing in the sunshine on the deck, as long as grass isn’t involved. Sailor isn’t your typical cuddly Maltese, and she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that she may always be more of an independent companion than a lap dog. For someone willing to love her exactly as she is, Sailor could be a wonderful little friend. -----  A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters: Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:  ✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.  ✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).  ✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.  The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.  Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.  Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Nellie is a friendly 19-month-old Bichon Frise who is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. She enjoys people, gets along well with other dogs and currently lives happily with two canine companions. She is a bright, curious and independent young dog with plenty of personality. She has no bite history and is friendly and social. She loves to settle on laps or underneath the legs of her people. She is still completing her house-training and will need a consistent potty routine, or even better a doggie door. She is also an enthusiastic chewer: if left unattended with access to remote controls, papers, photographs, books or similar objects, she may damage them. Her new family must either dog-proof an area of the home or use a crate whenever she cannot be supervised. We are headed out for lengthy adventures overseas and are not sure when or where we might resettle. Nellie deserves more stability so we've made the hard decision to rehome her... for free to a *GOOD* home.
