Story
I got Sky from a breeder when he was just 2 months old. He is a very loving pet, he loves to cuddle up next to you, and gives lots of kisses. Sky comes and sits in my lap and often goes to sleep there. Sky is a very well behaved and quiet dog, but like most other dogs bark when there is someone near the door, or if I am coming home. I want a nice home and loving owners for Sky who can give him all the love, care, attention and most importantly cuddles, as he is like a baby to me.

Story
Lucky is an incredibly sweet, loving dog who truly just wants to be close to her people. She's a 12 lb. Maltipoo Mix born on 8/1/25. She’ll happily curl up next to you on the couch and snuggle for hours, and wherever you go in the house, she’ll likely be right behind you—she loves being your little shadow. Lucky is leash trained and mostly potty trained. Like many sensitive dogs, she can get nervous when left alone and may occasionally have an accident during those times, but she has been making progress and we’ve been working with her on building confidence. She sleeps in her crate at night and does well there, though she’d probably be happiest curled up in bed with you if given the choice! Lucky would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time—she’d be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home or has a quieter household. She is wonderful with kids and has been very patient and gentle with the kind of love and attention that only young kids can give. She also loves playing with her toys, being held, and getting lots of snuggles. Lucky does have separation anxiety, so she’s looking for a home that understands this and is willing to continue helping her feel safe and secure. With her current medication, she can tolerate being home alone for a couple of hours at a time. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection, follow you everywhere, and happily spend the day snuggled by your side, Lucky truly could be the perfect pet. This sweet girl is a Tripod, she is missing her front leg. We dont know what happened but that does stop her from playing and cuddling and doing everything she wants. She may be shy at first but her playfulness comes out quickly.

Story
Elliana They gave me a fancy name at last! Can you believe it? I have been used as a breeder dog for years and years and then dumped at the local pound with a mammary gland tumor that you could play tennis with!! Who does that!!! At least that is what my foster mom thinks my life has been like. I sat there in a cage at animal control for 4 weeks before anyone would think about pulling me out of there but my foster mom said that she had to take me home so that I would have a chance to be a beloved pet before I die. Not that I am planning to do that anytime soon, but you never know. Anyhow, I went to the vet right away and had that big nasty thing taken off my stomach and the vets knew right away what it was and what it was from. They took out the baby making bits as well, so I won’t have to go through having my babies and then losing them right away to being just a baby and money making factory for somebody. Sheesh….get a job!! I have some issues, I won’t lie, but I am starting to kind of get used to being out of a cage, where I learned to circle around and around as there wasn’t a lot of space in those things. I can walk in a straight line and the more I get time outside, the more I am enjoying the fresh air and smells in the grass. I will revert to circles when I am nervous but Rome wasn’t built in a day and I have only had freedom for a couple of months now. I don’t have many teeth, as the ones I did have were rotted and broken from trying to eat the bars I suppose. I startle easily from the lack of being held and loved in my former life, and will try to “gum” you if I pick me up too quickly. But speaking to me and touching me before you pick me up will let me know you are there and going to be gentle with me. I am still getting used to the being held part, and sometimes can’t tolerate it very long, but I am learning and going slow is really helpful to me. I am learning what good food tastes like, and what a soft bed feels like, and while I have pretty limited vision to see things, I can follow my nose and it helps me to find everything I need to get around. Foster mom leaves me a puppy pad to potty on in the house if I have to go at night, and I am pretty good at using it. It took a while to figure out that is what it was for, but also, if I potty outside after meals, I am good if I keep to a schedule. So that is my story. If you are interested in giving a blind old lady a soft landing for the rest of my life, let me know. Local adoption in Texas only please.

She came from a home with 29 dogs, so she’s still learning what it means to be part of a loving family and would benefit from a little extra socialization. Myrna may be shy when you first meet her, but with a bit of patience and kindness, she quickly begins to open up. Once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate side shines through. She enjoys toys, gets along well with other dogs, and does great with kids. This gentle girl is still discovering the joys of family life and is looking for a home that will help her continue to grow in confidence and feel secure. Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills.
