Meet Cherry! We believe Cherry was born around October 1, 2025, and think she may be a Maltipoo. She currently weighs about 5 pounds. Cherry came to us with a broken leg, but she’s doing great and is expected to have her cast removed in late January. She’s a resilient little girl and hasn’t let it slow her down one bit. Cherry is everything you’d expect from a puppy — playful, curious, and full of personality. She loves playing with both big and small dogs and has absolutely no fear of them. One of her favorite pastimes is stealing socks, which she proudly considers her treasure. When it’s time to relax, Cherry enjoys curling up on your lap while you sit on the couch. At bedtime, she loves to climb up and snuggle in close next to you. Potty training is still a work in progress, but she’s learning and improving every day. Cherry is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Her spay/neuter procedure will be covered by the rescue at 6 months of age when completed through one of our approved veterinary clinics. Cherry is a sweet, cuddly, fun-loving puppy who will make a wonderful companion for a lucky adopter. Poet is a 1.5-year-old neutered Miniature Poodle with a loving heart and a deep devotion to his people. Poor sweet Poet had a rough start in life, and after all of the neglect and abuse he endured, he has remained incredibly sweet and people-loving. He is fully potty trained and truly thrives on human companionship. Poet loves cuddling, following his people around the house, and has recently discovered how fun playtime can be. He enjoys being part of everyday life and makes a wonderful little shadow. When it comes to other dogs, Poet can be selective. He prefers dogs that respect his personal space and may growl if another dog gets too close or is overly energetic. Because of this, he would do best in a home without a high-energy dog, or with a calm, dog-savvy companion who understands boundaries. Poet can also be a bit skittish around loud noises, so a patient, reassuring home will help him continue to build confidence.
