Story
I got Sky from a breeder when he was just 2 months old. He is a very loving pet, he loves to cuddle up next to you, and gives lots of kisses. Sky comes and sits in my lap and often goes to sleep there. Sky is a very well behaved and quiet dog, but like most other dogs bark when there is someone near the door, or if I am coming home. I want a nice home and loving owners for Sky who can give him all the love, care, attention and most importantly cuddles, as he is like a baby to me.

If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   Chewbacca is a 3 year old male Mini Poodle mix who weighs in at 15 pounds.  This dog's adoption fee is $550.  If you are still interested, please read more below. Chewbacca is a very happy friendly boy.  He hops like a bunny, so happy! He does well with small dogs like him but he is not happy with dogs bigger than him.  He is working on house training and walking on a leash. He is getting better and better every day.  He loves to run, and his foster thinks he’d be a good brother to another small dog.  Maybe he would warm up to a bigger one?  There are not children in his foster home, Not sure about kids, but when we come up to kids in the park he’s fine.  He will follow you around and will either sit next to you or at your feet, being close. Another great thing about him ~ He doesn’t bark!  Even when the other dog in the home is barking he lays there relaxed and calm.  When he see’s a bigger dog he does bark.  Come to meet him – you are guaranteed to love him.  Chewbacca is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and neutered.  This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today!  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation!
