Meet Cherry! We believe Cherry was born around October 1, 2025, and think she may be a Maltipoo. She currently weighs about 5 pounds. Cherry came to us with a broken leg, but she’s doing great and is expected to have her cast removed in late January. She’s a resilient little girl and hasn’t let it slow her down one bit. Cherry is everything you’d expect from a puppy — playful, curious, and full of personality. She loves playing with both big and small dogs and has absolutely no fear of them. One of her favorite pastimes is stealing socks, which she proudly considers her treasure. When it’s time to relax, Cherry enjoys curling up on your lap while you sit on the couch. At bedtime, she loves to climb up and snuggle in close next to you. Potty training is still a work in progress, but she’s learning and improving every day. Cherry is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Her spay/neuter procedure will be covered by the rescue at 6 months of age when completed through one of our approved veterinary clinics. Cherry is a sweet, cuddly, fun-loving puppy who will make a wonderful companion for a lucky adopter. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is quickly picking up potty training. She'd do well in a house full of love with kids and dogs or as a solo companion for someone with a big heart. She had a rough start in life, and after all of the neglect and abuse she endured, she has remained incredibly sweet and people-loving. She is crate trained and continuing to work on her potty training, making great progress. Lyric walks nicely on a leash and does well with kids and other dogs. She truly thrives on companionship and would especially love a forever home with another dog to keep her company. Lyric enjoys cozy blankets, sitting next to her people, and simply being part of everyday life. As a poodle, she will need regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. Story
Peppermint Bark is a spayed, cheerful girl with a sweet spirit and a happy outlook on life. Despite having a very difficult past—she was heartbreakingly left behind when her previous owners moved, with severely overgrown fur and mammary tumors—Peppermint Bark has remained loving, gentle, and full of joy. She is now receiving the care and love she deserves and is ready for a forever home of her own. She is potty trained and also comfortable using potty pads indoors, crate trained, listens well on a leash, and does well with other dogs. Peppermint Bark’s happiness is contagious—she expresses it with adorable “happy dances” on her back legs, big joyful stretches while lounging, playful air nips with clicking teeth, and a tail that spins like a little helicopter. Peppermint Bark enjoys food, relaxing on the couch (not sleeping—just quietly observing), being near her people without needing to be on top of them, and going for long outdoor walks when the weather is mild. She isn’t very interested in toys or playtime and prefers a calmer, more relaxed lifestyle. Her ideal home would be with people who enjoy companionship but also appreciate an independent dog who is content to explore, relax, and spend time looking out the window. She loves humans but is not a Velcro dog—just a happy, well-balanced companion. Because of her breed, Peppermint Bark will need a family committed to regular grooming to keep her comfortable and healthy.
