Story
Comet was being Euthanized by his owners, he was with one family 8 years. When they moved from a house to an apartment he became anxious and bit when trying to get him from under the bed. Comet has been in my rescue and my house ever since while I try to find him a new home. He's been through behavioral training and would do best in a home with not other pets, he is a very young 8 year old and having a nice walk everyday keeps him healthy and happy. He enjoys chasing squirrels and acting like a dog. He's actually a great protector and would do great with an active owner . He is neutered,microchipped, UTD on shots and on HW and flea prevention. Janet is looking for a loving foster home to help her recover while she is receiving medical treatment. Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Janet is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since she may be contagious to other pets, we strongly recommend keeping her in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until she has fully recovered. She will go to her foster home with medication, and once her treatment is complete, she’ll be ready for surgery/adoption. Foster to Adopt: Janet is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. I got Maya from a breeder in OKC, she is 7 years old. She is an Adult now and super loving, chill, and loves long walks. I think she would thrive in any home where she gets lots of love, consistency, predictable schedules and cuddles. She does have some anxiety when it storms or rains heavy outside and just needs to let it pass. Otherwise is super relaxed and ready for a walk always or just to watch TV and snuggle up!
