Gus is a 9-year-old Maltipoo who has had only one owner. He was originally purchased from Petland. He’s an incredibly smart pup with a great personality. Due to past reactions to vaccinations, his vaccinations were discontinued when he was around 3 years old. Gus loves playing with his toys, enjoys being around kids, and has a funny habit of sneaking off with your socks 😀

Story
Comet was being Euthanized by his owners, he was with one family 8 years. When they moved from a house to an apartment he became anxious and bit when trying to get him from under the bed. Comet has been in my rescue and my house ever since while I try to find him a new home. He's been through behavioral training and would do best in a home with not other pets, he is a very young 8 year old and having a nice walk everyday keeps him healthy and happy. He enjoys chasing squirrels and acting like a dog. He's actually a great protector and would do great with an active owner . He is neutered,microchipped, UTD on shots and on HW and flea prevention. He will be 4 years old in November and has been with me since he was 7 weeks old. He is lively, energetic, and very protective. He has a strong bark but has never bitten. He thrives on attention, affection, and companionship, and loves to cuddle. He does best in an environment where he receives consistent interaction, stimulation, and structure. Due to changes in my lifestyle, I’m no longer able to meet his needs in the way he deserves. I’m looking for a home that is active, attentive, and able to give him the time, care, and engagement he requires to thrive. He would do best with someone who understands small, high-energy dogs and is prepared to give him both love and consistency. Experience with dogs or willingness to continue training is preferred.

Heathcliff is a 1-2 year old 9 pound neutered male Maltese/Havanese mix.  Neuter, current on all vaccines, heart worm negative, microchipped crate trained and working on house training. Heathcliff is still learning about the world and will need a family that understands the time, patience and commitment that comes with a young adult dog. This will include potty training, learning basic commands, regular exercise, and lots of play time. Heathcliff is very curious and likes toys so make sure you have lots of toys to help him grow into a well manner adult dog. Heathcliff would do best with a dog his size, age and energy level. He loves to play. His breed will need regular grooming. If you are ready to welcome this sweet boy into your home and help him grow into the best dog he can be ,I would love to meet you. If you are interested in meeting Heathcliff please submit an adoption application.      Adoption fee is 275.00       We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
