This fluffy Great Pyrenees mix is both house- and crate-trained, intuitive, and smart. She’s good with other dogs and cats, and while she hasn’t met children yet, her gentle, loving nature suggests she’d be wonderful with them too. Coco isn’t high-maintenance when it comes to activity — about an hour of daily exercise keeps her perfectly content. What she really wants most is a cozy home, belly rubs, and someone who appreciates her big heart. Like any great love story, Coco has her quirks: she’s a bit of a foodie (so counters are best kept clear!), and she’s on a special diet and medication to keep her feeling her best. Say hello to Dewbert — or Dooby, as his foster family lovingly calls him! This big, happy Great Pyrenees is equal parts gentle giant and goofy sidekick. With his soulful eyes, calm presence, and joyful personality, Dooby brings a little sunshine wherever he goes. Since joining his foster family, Dooby’s transformation has been incredible. His coat has healed beautifully, his confidence has blossomed, and he has truly settled into home life. He loves being near his people and has recently shown just how devoted he is by becoming especially protective and nurturing toward the family’s newborn. That loyal streak is one of his sweetest qualities. Because of this strong protective instinct, Dooby would thrive as an only dog in a loving home where he can bond closely with his people. While he has previously enjoyed playing with the family’s resident dog, he recently showed that he prefers not to share his space or his humans with other pets. However, he is a dream when meeting dogs on walks, puppy playtimes, or when going to a fun happy hour with other furry friends. Dooby is also a classic Great Pyrenees through and through, which means a fenced yard is a must. It’s his happy place to explore, sunbathe, and do his signature “patrols.” One of his funniest quirks is his nightly security rounds. He quietly pads through the house 2–3 times a night just to make sure everyone is tucked in safely. It’s impossible not to smile when you catch him taking his job so seriously. He continues to do well with humans of all ages and is wonderfully gentle, affectionate, and steady. His resource guarding is only directed toward other animals, not people, and with a pet-free home, this won’t be a concern day-to-day. With his humans, he is nothing but a big, loving teddy bear who wants to be close and be part of the family. Top Hat is a one-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his paws and a spirit that refuses to quit. After surviving a traumatic accident, this handsome boy has shown just how resilient and sweet he truly is. Despite everything he’s been through, Top Hat remains extremely bright, alert, responsive, and eager to enjoy life. Top Hat is currently healing from a jaw fracture and a few lacerations that are well on their way to recovery. He’s eating, drinking, and taking his medications like a champ, and his veterinary team reports that his prognosis is good. He’s on some temporary activity restrictions and wears a soft muzzle while his jaw finishes healing, but this is all short-term care with a clear recheck date in January. Behavior-wise, Top Hat is described as sweet, active, and affectionate, with no behavior concerns noted. He’s still young and will benefit from a calm, supportive home that can help him rest, heal, and continue building confidence as he grows into the loyal, devoted companion Anatolian mixes are known to be. Top Hat would do best in a foster or adoptive home that’s comfortable following post-injury care instructions for a few more weeks. In return, you’ll be rewarded with a grateful, gentle giant-in-the-making who’s ready to leave his rough start behind and begin his next chapter surrounded by love.
