Uma is an approximately 9-year-old Mastiff mix with the gentlest heart. She is a giant cuddle bug who believes she is a lap dog and loves nothing more than being close to her people. Uma is sweet, calm, and incredibly affectionate.Uma was adopted as a rescue, and her early life was difficult. Because of past trauma, she can become reactive on walks, but with a proper harness and mindful handling she does very well.She has lived peacefully with dogs, cats, and children of all ages, including babies, whom she absolutely adores. Slow introductions to new animals may help her feel safe, but she has never harmed any people or animals.Mastiffs have relatively short lifespans, and our greatest hope is to find Uma a loving home where she can spend her senior years surrounded by comfort, affection, and family.Uma is currently in Centennial, CO and is ready to meet you!
