Story
Meet Juno! This gorgeous girl may be extra large but she's a sweet, social, smushy baby just looking for her forever home!Juno is about three years old so she is full grown and right now she weighs about 70lbs. She could stand to put on a few pounds but, other than doing some filling out, she won't be getting any bigger. All of her paperwork says that she is a mastiff mix - we do not know exactly what type of mastiff or what she is mixed with, but she's absolutely stunning! She's 100% a good girl, too! She's super friendly with strangers and relatively easy to manage on a leash (for her size, anyway - she may be too much for someone that isn't steady on their feet), though she does tend to get distracted. She's a curious girl that loves to learn and she's super interested in pretty much everything. She's food motivated and, once she knows that snacks are on hand, you can get her to do pretty much whatever you want. She's very, very smart and knows lots of cues. Her recall could use some work (if she's investigating something, she'll pretend she didn't hear you), but the foundation is definitely there. She LOVES being with people and is a social butterfly. She loves toys, too! She perks right up at the sound of a squeaker and will slap a tennis ball around all by herself.Juno does well with other dogs and previously lived with them with no issues. She is a very, VERY playful girl and immediately wants to break into a playbow and bounce around with them. She would likely do fine with cats though we would stress the importance of a slow, proper introduction...but, like, she knows full well what an angry cat is and wants no part of it. Her tennis ball rolled next to a crate that had a hissing cat in it and she was like, nope, you can keep that tennis ball and I'll keep my peace, bye! We would prefer kids 12+, though exceptions MAY be made for the right family with breed experience. To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com.
