Story
Meet Alex a lively, lovable pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Alex is currently on the road to recovery after TPLO surgery and is recovering from heartworm treatment. While he is on activity restriction for now, do not let that fool you, this boy has energy to spare and a playful spirit thats just waiting to shine once he has healed. Because of his high energy and temporary limitations, Alex will need a patient and experienced home that can help him channel that zest for life into brain games, enrichment activities, and plenty of mental stimulation. He is working hard on being a good boy during recovery, and he is making great progress with structure and support. When he has had his fill of mental fun and the zoomies are out of his system, Alex melts into a total cuddle bug. If you`re looking for a smart, spirited companion and you`re ready to help guide him through his healing journey, this squishy guy just might be your perfect match.

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: Mostly Ardis is a happy, sweet and good girl. She has the cutest little wrinkles next to her mouth when she smiles and her tongue is usually lolling. She has a medium energy level and would love a family who will share their adventures with her.Ardis is very excited when she meets other dogs and can’t wait to play with them. She would do best with other dogs who are as enthusiastic as she is about playtime! She has met a cat and backed away when it hissed at her, so would most likely coexist just fine with a cat sibling. Ardis has been around young kids and did well, but she is still perfecting her manners, so dog savvy kids would be best. She likes to play tug-of-war and wrestle with other dogs.Ardis will go in her crate happily and settles straight away. She is mostly house trained so long as her cues are not missed. She is learning basic commands and how to walk on a leash.Ardis is a playful girl with lots of love to give her new family! Is yours the one she’s been waiting for? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org. Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN.
