Story
Meet Oatmeal – The Happy, Wiggly Social Butterfly! 72 lbs | Mastiff Mix | Found in Randolph, MAOatmeal is one of those dogs who instantly makes you smile. Found as a stray and sadly never reclaimed, it’s hard to believe anyone let her go — she is truly a gem.During her evaluation, Oatmeal impressed everyone with her outgoing, people-loving personality. She came right out of her kennel, wiggling with joy, happy to greet her handler, and eager to have her harness put on. She loves treats and already knows sit — and she’s clearly had some training in her past. The moment she heard a clicker, she noticeably settled and offered eye contact, showing just how smart and eager to learn she is.Oatmeal also met a test dog – a friendly Boxer – and was delighted to say hello. She was excited and goofy at first, showing her playful side with some jumpy “puppy manners,” but she redirected beautifully with food, settled next to him, took treats politely, and even offered a play bow. With continued structure and guidance, she’ll only get better.Oatmeal’s Best Traits:• Super social – loves people and dogs• Food-motivated & trainable• Knows sit and responds to clicker reinforcement• Playful, wiggly, and joyful• Settles quickly once given directionIdeal Home:A family or adopter who enjoys an affectionate, fun-loving dog and is willing to continue her basic manners and give her healthy outlets for her enthusiasm. She could do great with a friendly dog companion who appreciates playtime!Oatmeal is truly special — affectionate, smart, and full of life. Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN.
