All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. Meet Maisy! This beautiful girl was rescued by a small all-breed rescue in rural Texas, emaciated and late-term pregnant. They reached out to GPMR, and we brought her into rescue. Just three days later, she welcomed her puppies. Maisys puppies are now weaned, and she has been spayed. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms and is on the road to recovery. Maisy is now ready to find her forever home! We know Maisy is cat-friendly. She can do well with other dogs but will need an experienced owner who can provide structure, guidance, and continued training to help her thrive. Maisy is being fostered in Tulsa, OK. PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. Meet August (aka Mayzie)! At just 1 year old and around 90 pounds, August is a beautiful young Mastiff with a heart as big as her paws. This sweet girl is still very much a puppy and is learning all about the world around her. One thing is certain: August is absolutely solar-powered! She loves spending time outdoors, whether shes exploring the yard, lounging in the sunshine, or simply soaking up the fresh air. A home with a securely fenced yard where she can enjoy her outdoor adventures would be her dream come true. August is affectionate, playful, and eager to be part of the family. Like many young dogs, shes still working on her manners and can get excited during playtime. Shes learning appropriate ways to channel her puppy energy and responds well to redirection, exercise, and plenty of chew toys. Continued training and basic obedience classes would be a wonderful way to help her grow into the amazing companion shes destined to be.
