Story
Bullmastiff needs to be adopted as soon as possible as I am moving and I cannot have this breed at my new residence. He his fully house trained and great with kids. He loves being outside and is a great protector of my home. I’m saddened to see him but I really have no choice in the matter at this point. Thank you in advance for your consideration and I look forward to my Hello getting a new home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email.  If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions - drop us an email at GPMastiffRescue@gmail.com.  If you have questions about our adoption procedures, please go to our page called 'Adoption Info.'  We answer email inquiries daily.    GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.    GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.  !!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!       Meet Maisy! This beautiful girl was rescued by a small all-breed rescue in rural Texas, emaciated and late term pregnant. They reached out to GPMR and we brought her into rescue. 3 days later, she had her puppies. Maisy will be on medical hold until her puppies are weaned and we are able to get her spayed and other veterinary care completed. She is heartworm positive and will need to be treated. We know Maisy is cat friendly, she was reported dog friendly but since she has babies she's caring for, we've not had her around any other dogs. Maisy is being fostered in Wichita Falls, TX.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Save a Mastiff...Adopt, Foster, Volunteer!February 9, 2026, 9:09 pm

This girl was found as a stray outside a business in Fort Worth in horrible condition. She is severely underweight, has worn and broken teeth and very large pressure callouses. All indicators that this girl has been wandering and neglected for some time. When no owner was located and no ID tags or microchip, she came into GPMR. Franny is definitely a senior but her exact age was unknown. Amazingly she tested negative for heartworms. She did have intestinal parasites which we have treated. Once she's healthy enough, she'll go in to have her teeth addressed and see if any of them are problematic enough to be removed. We'll post more as we get to know her personality! Maggie is an estimated 7-year-old Mastiff who landed in an Arkansas shelter after her owner went to jail. She’s already been through so much — right after we picked her up from the shelter and took her to the vet, we discovered she had a life threatening uterine infection called a pyometra. Thankfully we got her just in time, she was hospitalized at our vet and spayed to take care of the infection. She's extremely underweight and so we're working on getting her healthy. She's also postitive for heartworms. It's clear she was neglected for some time.  Maggie has been dog tested and she’s been great with some dogs but not with others.  She does well with the cats in her foster home. Her foster reports she's a pretty easy keeper. She's got a road ahead of her to get healthy, but we're commited to getting here there! She'll be available for adoption once she finishes all of her veterinary care. Maggie is being fostered in Amarillo, TX Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Save a Mastiff...Adopt, Foster, Volunteer!February 2, 2026, 9:29 pm
