Pine is a really fun dog to hang out with, loves going for walks and exploring the world with you. He can be a bit reactive at times, and it comes out in really weird places, such as strange people walking by (but not everyone) and if he gets startled. He will need professional training to help him overcome his reactivity in new situations and of other animals. His perfect family has a fenced yard to keep him safe, no small children, no cats or dogs. With a bit of structure and time, Pine will rock it and be a great addition. Once he trusts you, he is so lovely.

🖤ADOPT BUBBA🖤 M | 6Y | 43 KG | Mastiff Mix | Neutered | UTD on shots | Crate trained | Good with dogs | Good with cats | Great with Kids | Fully Obedience Trained | Great with new people | Super affectionate | Low-Medium Energy | Certified Chiller | Fostered in London Meet Bubba! This big boy is one of the dogs we were able to pull out of a local shelter with the help of the Bark at the Moon community. If you want a living, breathing teddy bear, then read on. If you hate love and doggy cuddles (are you okay?) then Bubba probably isn't the guy for you. When asked what his worst nightmare is, he said: "A whole day without snuggles." True story. If you like short, slow walks, Bubba's the boy for you. He's more of a "chill night at home" guy than a "long walk on the beach" kind of guy. If those chill nights happen to include training and treats, then congratulations! You've found your way to his huge heart. He's a Tug World Champion. You can count how many times he's lost a game of tug on one paw. If you think you can take him on he's happy to crush your hopes and dreams. But he'll always offer some consolation cuddles to make you feel better. He's great with other dogs, and while he'd love another big fur sibling to play with, he's very respectful of smaller pets as well. He doesn't want it advertised, but he was even caught napping in the same bed with his foster sister, a cat! This softy loves kids (he's just a big kid himself, after all). His foster nephew is his favourite visitor! As with most big dogs, though, he can sometimes forget his size, so he should be supervised around kids who are not dog-savvy. It's safe to say he just loves people in general. If they have hands to pet him, he wants to meet them! Bubba's crate has become a safe space for him to sleep at night and spend workdays in. He has a history of resource guarding, so he eats all of his meals in his crate as well. It's important that his forever family provide that safe space for him. Bubba can't wait to meet his new furrever family, is it you?? https://www.barkatthemoonrescue.ca/dog-adoption-application

Story
A wonderful couple took in this big playful dog to keep her safe and decided to foster her and find her a forever home.  Sissy was dumped in their neighborhood and choose their house to make herself at home. Sissy has been spayed and up to date on vaccinations.  She is approximately 18 months old and weighs about 65 pounds.  They are working on house training, she is crate trained and left in a crate when they leave the house. She knows a few commands like SIT, STAY & COMES when her name is called.  They are working on other basic commands and behavior issues.  Sissy is a big girl and still likes to jump like puppies do.  She will need a home that is active and can walk her and give her the exercise she needs. Her foster home has another dog and Sissy loves playing tug or war and running zoomies around the yard.  If you are interested in adopting Sissy, please contact IDA GARCIA @ 210-317-6381 This is a courtesy posting for the foster family.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 28, 2024, 3:53 pm

Story
Meet WEDGIE!! This handsome hunk is a whopping 50 kg and is ready to find his perfect family. Wedgie is a friendly, enthusiastic dog that appears to really like people and dogs. Like, REALLY, like them. To the point where he will drag you to whoever or whatever he’s interested in. The good news? Wedgie is VERY food motivated. At the sound of a crinkling treat bag he will offer a “sit” and “paw” before you even have to ask. As with many mastiffs, Wedgie is a DROOL machine, so his new family must be prepared for wet kisses. ALL. THE. WET. KISSES. While Wedgie tries to be a gentle giant... he just isn`t. He would benefit from some training so he doesn`t jump up (or knock over!) his humans. Please contact Toronto Animal Services West shelter at (416) 338-PAWS (7297) to start the adoption process. Please note that meet and greets are done by appointment.

She is up to date on all of her vaccinations, spayed, and in good health. She is house trained and knows basic commands. She loves to play tug a war, go for walks, and cuddle up on the couch. She is great with cats, dogs and older children. If you or anyone you know is interested in giving Elizabeth a forever home, please reach out to me. I want to make sure she goes to the best possible family who will give her all the love and attention she deserves. Thank you for considering opening your heart and home to this sweet little girl.

Story
We acquired Simba from a breeder about 4 years ago. He is the sweetest boy and very obedient. We are looking for a loving home where he will be showered with affection and a lot of space indoors and out for him to roam or laze about (which is more his style). Simba does have what seems to be some gut issues and has had ear infections that we have treated in the past. His vet hasn’t been very helpful so I’m not sure but I just wanted whoever the lucky family is that takes this gentle giant to know the full picture. I wish we didn’t have to rehome him but my son had his adenoids removed due to the allergies and is still constantly sneazing and breaks out in hives whenever he touches anything Simba has touched. Simba is absolutely an angel. He’s super gentle and has never ever shown us any aggression. His bark is very handy in scaring away possible intruders and pesky sales people lol I want the best possible home for him, he deserves it.
