Story
Meet Louis! Louis is a high-energy, happy puppy with a big personality. We believe mom is a mix of Miniature Pinscher, Chihuahua, and Terrier. We don't know who dad was, but we think he will be small to medium-sized when full grown. Louis gets along well with other dogs, sleeps all night in his crate and is learning basic commands. He knows how to use a doggie door and when to use it. Louis loves quick snuggles before heading off on his next adventure and will thrive in an active home ready for puppy training and fun. Louis is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Royal puppy then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Meet Pepper: 11 Pounds of Spicy Chaos & Cuddles 🌶️🐾 Looking for a dog who thinks she’s a 90-lb bodyguard trapped in an 11-lb Min Pin–Chihuahua body? Congratulations — you’ve found Pepper, your tiny protector, professional snuggler, and part-time kiss dispenser. At 2 years old, Pepper has mastered several impressive skills, including: • Zoomies at 2x speed • Detecting when you sit down so she can immediately sit on you • Acting like she’s never been fed (even though she just was) Pepper loves everyone — dogs, humans, probably your Amazon delivery driver — but she especially loves her person. So much, in fact, that she may gently inform other pets that “the human is taken, thank you very much.” She’s affectionate, playful, and ready to be your pint-sized shadow. If you want a loyal companion who comes with both cuddles and comedic entertainment, Pepper is your girl. 💛 Temperament: Velcro dog with a dash of sass 💛 Gets along with: Dogs, humans, admirers 💛 Energy: Medium (play hard, nap harder) Pepper is ready for her forever home — preferably one with a lap available at all times. Is your lap open? Because Pepper has questions. 🐶💛

Story
Meet our sweet & smart Dale!. Exciting adventures await with this adorable little super-heroe! Chip 'n Dale - he is a Dachshund & miniature Pinscher Expect to have with him a lifetime of love, cuddles, and doggy treats. He is 15 pounds; although he looks taller but he is very light - he will not be over 25 pound once full grown. He is very smart; lovable, lap pup, he loves to play tag of war and loves to fetch as well. Sometimes he looks like a Bambi, such a cute face he gives you:) He is being fostered with a pack of 15 dogs and 7 cats - therefore, he is a dog and cat friendly. His best friend who is like a brother to him is Leo. So if you are looking for 2 pups, 1 small and one medium these 2 will make a great addition to your family and will bring hours of enjoyment when you then together playing and loving each other. Dale sits on the head of Leo when he goes to sleep..lol.. However, no need to adopt them together, only if you are looking for 2 pups to adopt. He is very funny, and he will provide you with lots of hours of enjoyment as he has an amazing personality. He is crate trained; he sleeps all night in his crate with no accidents.:) As with all rescued fury kids; they are going to need training, love reinforcement; as you know they all come from a tough beginning on their lives and the art of adopting a rescued creature is to bring them to be the best they can be with love and patience. Their donation adoption fee includes being spayed/neutered, they have received their 3 core puppy vaccines, dewormed, and a free health checkup through a local participating vet clinic. Please follow the instructions and start with completing an application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html We are scheduling meet & greet adoption appointments and keeping a distance protocol. Story
Meet Feller! DOB: February 2023Weight: 17 lbsDisposition: Sweet, Coy, LovingHistory: Feller was turned into the shelter with two other siblings, Braathen & Moltzan. Rescued from Kern County in March 2026 when at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. Do you have a soft spot for the shy dogs? The gentle souls who need a little time to come out of their shell — the ones whose trust you earn slowly, but once you do, they become your most loyal companion? Then you need to meet Feller. Feller is a sweet 3-year-old Min Pin mix who has experienced far too much turmoil in his young life. Recently rescued from Kern County alongside his siblings, Molzan and Braathen, Feller narrowly escaped euthanasia and is now searching for the love, safety, and stability of a forever home.At just 17 lbs, Feller is a gentle little guy with low-to-medium energy. He does wonderfully with other dogs and thrives in his large playgroup. He shares kennel space peacefully with multiple dogs and eats alongside his friends without issue. While he may need a little time to warm up to new people, once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through.Feller would do best in a calmer home with patient adopters who understand that some dogs just need a moment to feel comfortable. Another friendly dog in the home would be a bonus, but he’d also do fine as your one-and-only best friend. We promise — the reward will be worth the effort. If you're interested in meeting Feller, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adoptOur dogs are located in San Diego County, CA. We will happily consider out of town applications and can conduct virtual play dates with interested adopters. We have monthly transport to various locations in the Pacific Northwest, individual arrangements would need to be made for other locations across the US and Canada. To initiate the adoption process for this dog, please complete our online application by clicking below. Story
Winter is 5. Shes 13 pounds. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need to go to someone who has experience with this breed. A fully fenced yard is a must. She will do best in an adult only home. She takes some time to warm up to new people but once she does she is all cuddles. She prefers someone she can lay next to and follow around she’s very curious. She needs to be in a home with other dogs that know boundaries, if with other dogs. She will also be okay as the only dog. She loves to be outside and chase anything she can find or dig in the dirt. She currently lives with 2 large dogs and cats. She loves to chase a ball and play with cat toys. She hasn’t been walked on a leash but once, she will be a dog you would need to train to walk on a leash. She also isn’t stranger friendly. She isn’t a dog that can ride in the car she gets really excited and will bark and go crazy if left alone in the car. A secure yard is a must. If she gets out she will not go to strangers.
