Story
Willa: 5 yr old black & rust female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 13 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. "Meet Willa: a shy-sweet Mini Pin who loves lap cuddles, canine friends, and making sure her human is never too far away." Willa is a 5-year-old, 13 lb Miniature Pinscher with a soft heart and the sweetest shy-girl charm. Once she warms up, she loves nothing more than curling up in her human's lap — her absolute favorite place to be. She's not overly clingy, though. As long as she can see her person, she's perfectly content to relax nearby. But if Willa can't get to you or keep you in sight, she'll sound the alarm with full Mini Pin enthusiasm to let you know she needs reassurance. (She takes her role as Emotional Security Officer very seriously!) Willa gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. She has not been tested with cats or children, as her foster home does not have either, so those interactions are currently unknown. Willa is currently in California and is available for adoption within California, or possibly an adjacent state. We do not ship or fly dogs, so adopters must be able to travel to meet and adopt her. With a patient, loving family who appreciates her gentle spirit and endearing quirks, Willa will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive little girl who wants to feel safe, seen, and loved, Willa may be your perfect match. Note: Willa is located in Springville, CA - and we will not fly this girl. Story
Iris: 5 yr old blue & tan female, spayed, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 14.5", 12 lb. Rescued from shelter. Meet Iris! Iris has blossomed into the sweetest little min pin girl. She loves basking in the sun (who doesn't), playing with squeaky toys, getting pets and cuddles from her people and sleeping overnight cuddled under the covers. She can be suspicious when meeting new people and new dogs but warms up quickly especially if treats are involved. Iris knows the basics and is quick to please. She knows "come" and "sit", she's pretty good at "wait" and has just mastered the doggie door. She is housetrained and will use pee pads if she cannot access outside. She will bark at new noises or strangers but does not go on about it. As she is a rare blue girl, she does have some alopecia issues and we are working with our vet to see how we can get some of her bare spots to grow in and reduce her itching. Where her fur is undisturbed, she is very soft and the fur has a gorgeous silver glow. Iris is just such a perfect, sweet, little companion that wants nothing more than to be worshipped and adored. She is fun, drop dead gorgeous and very, very cuddly. We are looking for a home in Northern California and preferably with a yard for her to play and enjoy sunshine in. If you think that Iris is your girl, please submit your application and we can see if you are a match. Note: Iris is located in Montara, CA - and we will not fly this girl. Story
Sienna Rose: 2.5 yr old gray/brown speckled female, spayed, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 13 lb. Fully vetted. Meet Sienna - A striking Chinese Crested mix ready to meet her forever human. Story
✨ Meet Beau! ✨(Short for Ram-Beau 🐾)This adorable 1-2 year old gorgeous Miniature Pinscher weighs just 8 lbs and is full of love! Beau is a happy, affectionate young guy who adores his people and enjoys snuggling &#194&#151 but he is also a young, dog with a need for a doggy playmate, structure and basic training. He deserves a home that understands and embraces a playful, active, sweet young dog, not just a lap companion.🧠 Training & Adjustment:Beau is doing great with crate and potty training in general but he is still learning. That said, any young dog will need patience, consistency, and a routine when transitioning into a new environment. Temporary regressions are normal, and adopters should be prepared to guide him kindly as he settles in.🐾 Social & Activity Needs:Beau loves to play with other small dogs and would ideally thrive in a home with another playful canine companion or an adopter who enjoys interactive play, enrichment, and regular activity and playdates with other dogs regularly. While Beau is not aggressive with cats and lives with them, he can be overly enthusiastic &#194&#151 he tends to fixate, chase, and try to play, which can be stressful for many cats. A dog-friendly home (and no cats, or very dog-savvy cats with strong boundaries and training from experienced owners) would be the best fit.He is a gentle kind guy and and happiest when he's included, engaged, and given appropriate outlets for his energy. He's recently neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines & flea prevention ✔️📍 East Bay, CA📝 Important Adoption Note:We take placing our dogs very seriously. Incomplete or vague applications will not be considered. We need to understand the home, lifestyle, and heart of any potential adopter to ensure Beau is placed where he will thrive for life. Thoughtful, detailed applications are essential.👉 Apply at: www.k9ppr.orgJanuary 21, 2026, 12:53 am

Story
Hello. I am looking to rehome my sweet old boy Sparq. He is a miniature pinscher mix. He has been good to my family but unfortunately we are moving and can’t take him with us. He was originally adopted from SPCA in early 2020. He was 8 years old at time of adoption. He has a microchip and I he just got a rabies vaccine January 2026. Although he’s an older dog, he still has the energy of a young dog and people mistake him for a puppy all the time. He is potty trained to go outside but will go in the house if he is left alone for 6+ hours and has no other choice. He will let you know if he needs to go potty by whimpering near the door. I have had 2 kids since owning Sparq and have had ZERO issues with my kids which are now ages 2 and 4. He loves to go on walks and gets super excited as soon as you he sees you pull out the leash/harness. He mostly naps through the day but will never deny a chance to go outside.
