He is shy at first with new people. Once he gets to know you he is a snuggly sweet guy. Tag is very sensitive and smart. He is coming out of his shell and amazing transformation. He loves to snuggle. He loves to curl up right on top of you or beside you and just enjoy his time with you. He has been great with dogs that are similar to his size and adapts quickly. He's also got the basics down (kennel trained, potty trained, gets along with other animals) and is ready to find the perfect home. He's pretty vocal when it comes to telling you what he wants. For example, he will bark or whine near the water dish, door (for potty), or food when he wants it. He's so smart and picks up on things pretty quickly.Tag needs time to adjust and decompress in new situations. He is quite skittish and weary of new people. Because he is skittish, he would do best in an all adult home or a home with older, patient children. Belle is just an absolute doll!! She's very easygoing, obedient, smart and knows where her home is. She's a great walker and would love to go on jogs with her family. Belle enjoys laying in the sun, chasing balls, and snoozing away while her family is away. She is vision impaired but is a trooper taking her eye drops that come with treats. Belle is 11 years young, 27 lbs, and she is searching for a partner who enjoys a good snuggle, has a cozy lap, and loves morning walks. She is so soft and loving and is happy just sitting next to her foster family if they're watching TV. At night, she goes to her own bed in the bedroom. Everyone on her daily walks that meet her just loves her and says how sweet she is.

Bethany is a sweet and laid back fostered Miniature Pinscher looking for her forever home. She is very obedient, affectionate, and sweet. She's about 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds. Bethany enjoys car rides, walks well on the leash, and is crate-trained. She gets along great with all people and other dogs. She has been spayed and all of her vaccinations are up to date. Bethany would be a great addition to any family looking to adopt a mature and well-behaved dog.

Meet Chiquita! She is a darling 1 year old, 14 pound, black and tan, Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix with warm brown eyes. This pretty girl was left at a laundromat by her homeless owner AFTER he sold her puppies! No more abuse for this poor girl! She’s an AFC dog now and will spend the rest of her life loved! She is shy and needs an experienced adopter. She gets along fine with other dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. NO cats! She will chase them. She has gotten very attached to her foster mom in a short period of time and has been sleeping in her bed. She is very loyal to whoever she connects with and must have someone who is active retired or works from home. Chiquita really wants to connect with you. She loves to go for walks and car rides. She appears to be house broken and is using the doggie door. She is a SMART dog and knows the commands: Sit, Down and Shake. She can easily get over a 4-foot fence so please have an escape proof yard / securely fenced yard. She is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. Weston - This pup has always been a big boy, he weighs in at 4.9 LBs. He was born 6/15/2024 along with 6 other siblings. He is a Miniature Pincher/ Chihuahua mix. Mom is a Miniature Pincher and dad is a Chihuahua mix. He is very vocal about wanting attention and enjoys "telling you all about" how he feels about things. With all the barks and whines for attention, the tail never stops wagging. He just loves to be held and be the center of attention. He is very social and enjoys wrestling with his siblings. He likes to find a toy to run around with as well. Have you seen puppy zoomies? This guy is full of them! He will definitely keep you busy and your heart full of joy as he is simply adorable. All puppies have been socialized and have met and interacted with adults, children, and babies. Weston has met other dogs both larger and smaller breeds and does well.
