Story
Mandy is a total sweetheart — the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. She’s 3 years old, around 29 pounds, and full of charm. She’s got this adorable habit of sitting politely before every meal… though she’ll also bark to remind me if I’m taking too long to get it ready! Mandy loves hanging out with her foster brother, Hudson, and will happily chase toys or balls, but she’s just as content curling up on the couch with her people. She’s housebroken (she’ll bark at the door when she needs to go out) and does great in her crate. She has a nice, easy energy — happy to play, happy to relax — and she’ll melt your heart with her kisses and cuddles. Mandy’s just one of those dogs who makes every day a little bit sweeter.   Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2499669##

Story
This adorable, spunky, silly girl is heartbroken because she has absolutely zero interest from anyone wanting to adopt her. She has now set the record for the longest dog in our foster program. Pachi has been with us for a year and a half and prior to our rescue she had been in a shelter for several months. Pachi is the cutest little dog with the coolest ears. She is much smaller than she appears in her photos. (Under 30lbs). Pachi is a true gem, and we can't explain how lucky her person will be once they find each other. She's shown incredible growth but needs a home with structure and routine to continue to grow. Pachi finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, like chasing a toy or curling up on the couch and loves to share blueberries and bananas for breakfast with her foster mom. Pachi is most comfortable with women but is open to anyone with a soft side. She would do best with an adult-only home, or with older children. Pachi likes to be the center of attention, so no other pets. She is not a fan of felines. Pachi prefers a home with a fenced in yard to run around in. We know that her person/people are out there, but we need your help to find this deserving girl her much deserved forever home. Please share. We would like Pachi to stay within Central PA or if the perfect home is found we would consider someone further away. “Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling the emptiness we didn’t ever know we had.” - Thom Jones

Story
Meet Mustard 💛🐾 Mustard is a small pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This adorable little guy may be compact in size, but he’s full of charm, curiosity, and love to give. He’s a polite gentleman who’s a little shy at first, taking his time to warm up. His sweet, affectionate nature always shines through. With his expressive eyes and cute little face (complete with that tiny tongue peeking out!), Mustard has a way of melting hearts instantly. He enjoys being around people and would love a home where he can be part of the action—whether that’s going for walks, lounging by your side, or greeting you excitedly at the door. Mustard’s small size makes him a great fit for many living situations, and he’s ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick. If you’re looking for a sweet, polite companion who will stick close and brighten your days, Mustard might just be your perfect match. Come meet Mustard and add a little extra flavor to your life! 🐶✨ Our adult adoption fee is $350 (not including tax) which includes each animal fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. Story
Meet Rocky – A Brave Little Soul Looking for His Miracle Home Rocky is a little Min Pin with a big spirit and an even bigger heart. He’s around 5 years old, and though life hasn’t always been easy, he’s faced every challenge with courage and love. When his beloved owner went into the hospital, Rocky’s world was turned upside down. His family did everything they could to care for him and manage his diabetes, but it became too difficult. That’s when we stepped in — and promised Rocky he’d never have to struggle alone again. With medication and lots of love, his diabetes is now under control (but he will need an adopter committed to keeping him on his medication). Thanks to his amazing foster, Rocky has rediscovered joy — chasing toys, snuggling under the blankets, and greeting visitors with his big, bold personality. He’s playful, smart, and full of life — but also tender and deeply connected to his people. At bedtime, he curls up close, often nudging under the covers just to be near you. Rocky isn’t perfect — he’s still learning his potty routine, can be protective of his food, and doesn’t love his insulin needles. But he’s trying so hard, and every day he trusts a little more. He just needs someone patient, kind, and willing to give him the stability he’s never truly had. A few notes about Rocky: Dog friendly (he enjoys canine friends!) Cats  not recommended Crate trained: not yet, but learning Potty training: in progress (uses pads too!) Loves toys, treats, and snuggling at bedtime Travels well Needs an experienced, patient, and loving home Rocky’s dream home:Someone home most of the day, with a gentle heart and steady hands — someone who sees past his condition and just loves him for the sweet, goofy little dog he is. A fenced yard would be lovely, and another calm dog friend would be a bonus. Rocky has already overcome so much. He just needs one more miracle — a forever home that will love him for the rest of his days. Fostered in Farmingdale, NJ Apply to adopt Rocky at: peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application Sometimes the most special dogs are the ones who’ve fought the hardest — and Rocky is ready to show his forever family just how big his little heart truly is. ##2569540##
