Story
Meet Cashew, the cutest nut in the bunch!   Cashew came to faithful friends a little over a month ago now, as a surrender after his family fell on difficult times. 7 years old, and wondering how he ended up here, and still here. Cashew lived a very quiet life with his family, no other animals and no children, he’s still needing that kind of environment. Cashew is looking for someone who can spend most of their time at home and enjoying the day together. He’s a big fan of toys, so lots of toys are a requirement! He’s housetrained and even knows a few tricks! Cashew is still here after a little over a month and is needing someone to give him a chance! He’s been an exceptional office dog but is looking to retire after his short time supervising the adoption team. If you think you’re the right fit come on out and meet Cashew! January 21, 2026, 2:39 pm

Story
Mandy is a total sweetheart — the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. She’s 3 years old, around 29 pounds, and full of charm. She’s got this adorable habit of sitting politely before every meal… though she’ll also bark to remind me if I’m taking too long to get it ready! Mandy loves hanging out with her foster brother, Hudson, and will happily chase toys or balls, but she’s just as content curling up on the couch with her people. She’s housebroken (she’ll bark at the door when she needs to go out) and does great in her crate. She has a nice, easy energy — happy to play, happy to relax — and she’ll melt your heart with her kisses and cuddles. Mandy’s just one of those dogs who makes every day a little bit sweeter.   Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2499669##

Story
This adorable, spunky, silly girl is heartbroken because she has absolutely zero interest from anyone wanting to adopt her. She has now set the record for the longest dog in our foster program. Pachi has been with us for a year and a half and prior to our rescue she had been in a shelter for several months. Pachi is the cutest little dog with the coolest ears. She is much smaller than she appears in her photos. (Under 30lbs). Pachi is a true gem, and we can't explain how lucky her person will be once they find each other. She's shown incredible growth but needs a home with structure and routine to continue to grow. Pachi finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, like chasing a toy or curling up on the couch and loves to share blueberries and bananas for breakfast with her foster mom. Pachi is most comfortable with women but is open to anyone with a soft side. She would do best with an adult-only home, or with older children. Pachi likes to be the center of attention, so no other pets. She is not a fan of felines. Pachi prefers a home with a fenced in yard to run around in. We know that her person/people are out there, but we need your help to find this deserving girl her much deserved forever home. Please share. We would like Pachi to stay within Central PA or if the perfect home is found we would consider someone further away. “Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling the emptiness we didn’t ever know we had.” - Thom Jones
