Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hi, I’m Lucy Van Pelt!  I'm a gorgeous Chihuahua/Mini Pin/Xoloitzchcuintli? mix. (Pronounced show-low-eats-QUEEN-T-lee") So basically A Black Queen that likes snacks. Yup. Definitely me.  My brother-from-another-mother, Snoopy, and I were abandoned in a private fenced area and ended up in puppy jail. My foster mom thinks the family couldn’t afford food anymore because we were both reeeeally skinny. She says I was loved and cared for, and I’ve decided life is still for loving, cuddling, eating and being beautiful!   My Superpowers: Professional Cuddler: If there’s a lap, I’m in it—no invitation needed. Potty Trained: I’m great on a schedule, even in tall snow!  Dedicated Toy Surgeon: I’m passionate about destuffing stuffies with precision and enthusiasm. Bone & Cheese Stick Connoisseur: I take my snacks very seriously. Yum. I will even pose for pictures if you have dehydrated liver.  I'm not very gentle when I take them, though.  I love my kennel, car rides, snacks, naps, cuddles... I don't make a peep! I take any chance I get to go potty outside, even if the snow is taller than I am! I jump around at meal time. Jump! Jump! I get so excited!  I’m a sweet, affectionate girl looking for a forever family who wants a loyal shadow, a warm lap partner, and a beautiful, classy dog with a big love for life! Lucy is from a local impound. Story
I rescued Baz from a local shelter that's well known for adopting out sick animals and lying to adopters about it then refusing to help with medical bills. I've had him 4 years, he's 95% purebred 5% ??? I have to re-home him due to my own medical issues recently that have changed my life forever and he deserves better than I'm about to give him now. He's great with my disabled daughter and my other dog but absolutely hates cats. He has anxiety issues around loud noises like thunder and fireworks but hates anyone knowing that! He's a loving, snuggly, goofy, crazy alien boy with about a million nicknames now. I'd prefer him to go to a home with a fenced in yard but he's used to being on a lead and/or taking walks. He's trustworthy enough for me to leave him home alone not in a kennel and come back to find everything exactly as it should be! I don't want to let him go but it's in his best interest - this is breaking my heart! Let me know if you have any other questions!
