Story
💙Adopt Dobi💙 Meet Dobi, a charming mini Chihuahua terrier mix brimming with affection and a longing to be near his humans. This little guy thrives on companionship, finding joy in being by your side or nestled at your feet. His gentle and loyal demeanor makes him an ideal companion, always ready to be your devoted shadow. After the loss of his previous owner, Dobi is navigating a new chapter in his life, gradually adjusting to his surroundings. He enjoys the company of dogs his own size and is friendly with them, though he requires some time and positive experiences to feel at ease around larger dogs. Dobi is also honing his leash skills and learning to interact with other dogs while on walks. With a consistent routine, he is improving his house manners, particularly with potty training and he is still utilizing belly bands. Dobi thrives on structure, routine, and clear boundaries. Due to past experiences, he needs gentle introductions to men, as he tends to bond more easily with women; however, once he feels secure, he is eager to befriend everyone. Dobi is looking for a calm and loving home where he can feel safe and share his affectionate spirit. Could he be the loyal companion you’ve been searching for?

Story
Meet Chiquita Chiquita is a gentle 10-year-old, 12 lb poodle–schnauzer mix with the sweetest heart. Her world was recently turned upside down when her beloved owner passed away. Through all the changes, Chiquita has shown nothing but love and a longing to be close to people. She adores cuddling, curling up in laps, and simply being near those who care for her. Chiquita has spent most of her life outdoors, so she isn’t fully housebroken yet—but she is eager to learn with patience and kindness. She currently lives peacefully with two other dogs and would do well in a home with furry companions or as the center of someone’s attention. This little soul has so much love left to give. All she needs is a safe, gentle place to call home and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. Will you open your heart to Chiquita and give her the second chance she so deeply deserves? If interested in meeting this sweet girl please reach out to her foster: Marta (650)740-0816 martalevison@gmail.comSeptember 4, 2025, 12:06 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Foster or forever home wanted, meet Molly! Molly found herself at the Hesperia Sheter as a stray back on January 16th. The shelter held her a bit longer than normal expecting someone was missing this sweet girl and would come looking for her. Well, it wasn't to be and all that extra time sitting in an overcrowded shelter was long enough for Molly to get an upper respiratory infection. When the shelter reached out to us to ask if we could help her, it was a resounding yes! Molly got her freedom ride from the shelter on January 30th.  We don't know a lot about Molly other than the shelter stating she is a very sweet and easy going dog. They did state that she appeared to be scared in the shelter and was reluctant to walk on the leash. She has improved from being sick so now we are hoping to see her personality come through.  If you are interested in meeting Molly, please head over to labradorsandfriends.org to fill out an application. Molly is located in Southern California.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 12, 2026, 2:48 pm

Story
Mochi was adopted in 2022 when she was 3 years old. She had a previous owner who had to surrender her due to health reasons. She is now 6 years old and will turn 7 this year. She weighs about 16 pounds so she is very shy when meeting new people. She favors females but with time, she will warm up to males. She has growled and tried to snip at people but has no history of biting anyone while I had her. When she was first adopted, she was listed as potty-trained but we needed to retrain her at first. She was able to learn quickly. She will still need a consistent walking schedule or access to outdoor/indoor potty area. She loves car rides and is a great lap dog. She is good with kids, other dogs & cats after slow introductions. She loves her toys and will get zoomies. She needs a patient adopter who can offer a safe and loving home.

We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
