Story
Meet Jelly! This petite girl is around 5 years old and with her long, scruffy fur, we believe she is a mix of Miniature Poodle, Retriever and Terrier. She is a shy, unsocialized girl slowly gaining confidence in her foster home. She now approaches her foster family for pets and is learning the leash and how to live in a home. She is looking for a family with experience in shyer dogs who can continue to socialize her and build her confidence. We recommend quieter homes at this time without lots of visitors or small children running around. She is good with other dogs. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Jelly when she is ready then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Butterfinger entered Pasadena Humane Society as a stray, and sadly, no one came for him. He is estimated to be 12 years old, weighs just under 18 lbs, and is a total lovebug! Butterfinger went on an extended Frosted Fling, and his foster mom only has wonderful things to report: "I had Butterfingers in my home for four weeks, and he is the sweetest, most gentle little love that I have fostered so far. He is house-trained and goes to the door when he needs to go out. He loves mealtime and short little walks around the block. He sleeps well through the night and takes several naps during the day. While he loves to be close by, he is not a Velcro dog. Butterfinger is friendly towards all people and does well around kids. He even got an A+ on his report card from the groomer for being the best boy while getting his nails trimmed. Butterfinger loves my dog and cat, and they all get along fabulously. He is very quiet and does not bark at the Amazon delivery man. He also rides well in the car. Butterfinger does love company and sometimes he will whimper a little bit when he thinks he’s all alone. I think he will be fine as an only dog in the house, but I think he would also benefit being in a pack where he can be the follower. Butterfinger is super lovable and loves to be petted, held, and given kisses." To meet Butterfinger, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Story
Pinot Noir entered Corona Shelter as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim her. On September 5th, we scooped up Pinot Noir to become a Frosted Face. She is around 8 years old, weighs 10 lbs., and is as sweet as can be! Pinot Noir went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about her in a home setting. Her Fling Mom reported: "In our time with Pinot Noir, we learned the following: * She really is a loving little girl with loyalty to her peeps and a super chipper attitude. * She must have had a home because she runs to her doggy bed instinctively as if to say, "This is where you want me to sit, right?" * She loves to roll in the grass. * She is a good eater. About 1 can per day. * She is super excited to see her family members when they come home. * She wants to play like a puppy, but doesn't need to snuggle up all of the time. * She is perfectly fine in a bed when I am working from home. * She was an angel when I gave her a bath. * When we go out we leave her in a playpen. * She is a smart cookie, as you can see in the video of her making easy work of a food puzzle! Pinot Noir is going to make some family very happy!" Pinot Noir currently lives in a Foster home while she waits for her forever family. Her foster mom has only wonderful things to report! "Pinot Noir loves to be scratched. She sleeps through the night in her own bed. Before breakfast, she takes a walk around the neighborhood and likes everyone we meet along the way. Sometimes, she comes with me when I play pickleball. She sits like an angel in her stroller and loves the attention she gets. She hangs out at home most off the day otherwise and is good if home alone." Looking for a sweet and loving companion? Please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org to meet precious Pinot Noir!

Story
Buddy Fibonacci entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray with another dog (Chip Gauss, also available for adoption.) A microchip was found, but despite efforts, they were unable to reach the registered owner. The finder reported that both dogs appeared in his yard severely matted, with overgrown nails, suggesting they had been without proper care for some time. We welcomed Buddy as a Frosted Face on December 22nd. He is 12 years old and weighs 13 lbs. We will add more information about Buddy as he settles in. Check back soon for an update! To meet Buddy, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
