Story
Pinot Noir entered Corona Shelter as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim her. On September 5th, we scooped up Pinot Noir to become a Frosted Face. She is around 8 years old, weighs 10 lbs., and is as sweet as can be! Pinot Noir went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about her in a home setting. Her Fling Mom reported: "In our time with Pinot Noir, we learned the following: * She really is a loving little girl with loyalty to her peeps and a super chipper attitude. * She must have had a home because she runs to her doggy bed instinctively as if to say, "This is where you want me to sit, right?" * She loves to roll in the grass. * She is a good eater. About 1 can per day. * She is super excited to see her family members when they come home. * She wants to play like a puppy, but doesn't need to snuggle up all of the time. * She is perfectly fine in a bed when I am working from home. * She was an angel when I gave her a bath. * When we go out we leave her in a playpen. * She is a smart cookie, as you can see in the video of her making easy work of a food puzzle! Pinot Noir is going to make some family very happy!" Pinot Noir currently lives in a Foster home while she waits for her forever family. Her foster mom has only wonderful things to report! "Pinot Noir loves to be scratched. She sleeps through the night in her own bed. Before breakfast, she takes a walk around the neighborhood and likes everyone we meet along the way. Sometimes, she comes with me when I play pickleball. She sits like an angel in her stroller and loves the attention she gets. She hangs out at home most off the day otherwise and is good if home alone." Looking for a sweet and loving companion? Please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org to meet precious Pinot Noir!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Maxine (aka Moxie) Maxine’s life before rescue wasn’t gentle. She lived in the same abandoned home as Walter, but her role was crueler—she was used as a breeder dog, neglected in every way except when it came time to produce puppies. Her coat was unkempt, her body worn, and her spirit tired. But Maxine isn’t broken. She’s brilliant. Affectionately nicknamed Moxie, Maxine has a little fire in her—and a lot of heart. She’s affectionate, attentive, and incredibly loyal. She’s the kind of dog that stays close, not because she’s anxious, but because she chooses you. She bonds deeply and quickly, making her the ultimate sidekick. She’s a natural on leash, loves to go for walks, and responds beautifully to recall—proof that even dogs with rough beginnings can thrive when shown love. Maxine has a softness to her now, but don’t mistake that for weakness—she’s got opinions, sass, and soul. Maxine has already given far too much in her life. It’s her turn to receive.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 25, 2025, 4:33 pm

Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!

Meet this adorable little gentleman! At 6 years old and 17 pounds, he may be considered “older” on paper — but don’t tell him that! His personality is all puppy-level charm and enthusiasm. He’s a small breed mix with plenty of energy, always ready for a walk, a game, or a little adventure with his people. He loves to play, enjoys exploring on walks, and brings a bright, happy presence wherever he goes.
