Story
Meet Calla Lily! She is around 2 years old and came to Labs and More just in time to deliver her adorable fluffy babies. She is a medium sized, thin and petite girl. We believe her mix could be Miniature Poodle, Spaniel and Retriever. She is a gentle hearted and reserved girl that is warming up with time and looking for an experienced family that can continue to build her confidence and show her the world isn't as scary as she thinks. She is learning the leash and likes attention from people. She is doing well with housetraining, although still does have the occasional accident inside. She is a very submissive, loving girl. She does well with other dogs and would likely do best with a confident, calm dog sibling in her forever home as well as a family where someone is home more often than not. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Calla Lily then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Story
Sweet, gentle hearted Jam is about as precious as can be! She is around 2 to 3 years old and we believe she is a mix of Poodle, Spaniel and possibly Maltese. She is a thin, long legged girl with feathery white fur. Jam is very submissive and takes a moment to warm up to new people and places. She is looking for a quieter home with an experienced and patient family that can continue to build her confidence. She gets along with other dogs, but doesn't need another dog sibling in her forever home as she prefers the company of humans. She walks nicely on leash and is doing well with housetraining with patience and her own backyard to do her business in. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Jam then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! Story
Meet Jelly! This petite girl is around 5 years old and with her long, scruffy fur, we believe she is a mix of Miniature Poodle, Retriever and Terrier. She is a shy, unsocialized girl slowly gaining confidence in her foster home. She now approaches her foster family for pets and is learning the leash and how to live in a home. She is looking for a family with experience in shyer dogs who can continue to socialize her and build her confidence. We recommend quieter homes at this time without lots of visitors or small children running around. She is good with other dogs. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Jelly when she is ready then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! Story
Mr. Magoo’s journey to safety began when a kind Good Samaritan found him helping himself to food that had been left out for a community cat colony. Friendly and easy to handle, he allowed himself to be gently picked up and brought to Santa Barbara County Animal Services. Sadly, no one came forward to claim him. On February 16th, we welcomed Mr. Magoo as a Frosted Face. He is estimated to be 16 years old and weighs 11 pounds. We’ll add more about Mr. Magoo’s personality and needs as he settles in and we get to know him better - stay tuned for updates on this sweet boy! To meet Mr. Magoo, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Story
Daisy entered Corona Shelter as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim her. On September 5th, we scooped up Daisy to become a Frosted Face. She is around 8 years old, weighs 10 lbs., and is as sweet as can be! Daisy went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about her in a home setting. Her Fling Mom reported: "In our time with Daisy, we learned the following: * She really is a loving little girl with loyalty to her peeps and a super chipper attitude. * She must have had a home because she runs to her doggy bed instinctively as if to say, "This is where you want me to sit, right?" * She loves to roll in the grass. * She is a good eater. About 1 can per day. * She is super excited to see her family members when they come home. * She wants to play like a puppy, but doesn't need to snuggle up all of the time. * She is perfectly fine in a bed when I am working from home. * She was an angel when I gave her a bath. * When we go out we leave her in a playpen. * She is a smart cookie, as you can see in the video of her making easy work of a food puzzle! Daisy is going to make some family very happy!" Daisy currently lives in a Foster home while she waits for her forever family. Her foster mom has only wonderful things to report! "Daisy loves to be scratched. She sleeps through the night in her own bed. Before breakfast, she takes a walk around the neighborhood and likes everyone we meet along the way. Sometimes, she comes with me when I play pickleball. She sits like an angel in her stroller and loves the attention she gets. She hangs out at home most off the day otherwise and is good if home alone." Looking for a sweet and loving companion? Please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org to meet precious Daisy!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
8-year-old Buddy Fibonacci entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray. A microchip was found, but despite the shelter's efforts, they were unable to reach the registered owner. This 17 lb. cutie recently returned from a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about him! Here's the scoop from his foster mom: Buddy is a sweet, gentle senior boy looking for a loving home where he can stay close to his person. He’s a devoted little shadow who wants to be in the same room as you and happily rotates between his beds in the living room, office, and bedroom. At night, he sleeps soundly on the bed with no accidents. Buddy does well with other dogs and has been to the dog park many times, comfortably mingling with up to 10 dogs of various sizes. He minds his own business and is gentle when meeting both people and dogs. He would likely do well in a home with other pets. However, because he guards his food dish if other dogs finish early, he should be fed separately. When left home alone, Buddy may cry for a few minutes but quickly settles down and naps until you return. He’s calm in the car and will curl up for a snooze on rides. He enjoys lap time, long naps, and rubbing his face enthusiastically on nubby blankets—especially after meals! Buddy enjoys going for walks and has a spring in his step. He has comfortably walked up to a mile and likely could go farther. Buddy enjoys kibble of any kind and eats slowly. He also loves hard biscuit treats and rawhide chews. If you are looking for an easygoing, affectionate companion with lots of love to give, Buddy might be the one for you! To meet this special boy, please email: placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
