Story
DOB 1-28-2024 Pomapoo, sweet and cute, gets along well with the other pups, loves to play and loves toys. Adorable little Pomapoo, very social and adorable. Adoption fee is 850.00, transport fee is 165.00 and is paid to HEARTS, our wonderful transport team. HEARTS leaves every other Friday and delivers to the North East on Saturday. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

*Name: Ivy *Age: 5 years old *Current Weight: 8 lbs *Adoption fee: $475 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Ivy, a 5-year-old mini poodle searching for her forever home! Ivy's journey has been one of resilience, having been rescued from a puppy mill where she didn't receive the love and care she deserved. As a result, Ivy is quite timid and prefers gentle introductions to new people and environments. What Ivy truly needs is a patient and understanding home, one that will give her the time and space to come out of her shell at her own pace. With a little patience and a lot of love, Ivy has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. Despite her past, Ivy still holds onto her gentle spirit and sweet nature. She enjoys quiet moments and the comfort of a warm lap to curl up on. With the right family, Ivy can learn to trust and thrive, showing just how resilient and loving she truly is. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Ivy, please consider giving her the chance she deserves. Together, you can write the next chapter of Ivy's story, filled with love, understanding, and the promise of a brighter future. Story
Hi there, I'm Marcus! I'm an 11 month old Poodle mix, and although I’m currently sporting a shaved look, my fur is usually longer and even more adorable. At just 10 pounds, I'm a little guy with a big heart. My rescuers say I need to gain a bit of weight because I wasn't probably cared for before I was rescued, but I’m hopeful for a bright future with a family who will give me the love and attention I crave. I'm a friendly and social pup who gets along well with other dogs. I’ve been around kids too, and there haven't been any issues. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a serial kisser! I love giving out kisses to show my affection. I'm also quite jumpy, but since I weigh next to nothing, it’s just part of my playful charm. I’m full of energy and always ready to share my love and enthusiasm with my humans. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and lively companion, I might be the perfect match for you. I’m excited to meet my forever or foster family who can give me the love and care I have been missing out on. Marcus is available for adoption but is also in need of a foster home. To Adopt (or foster-to-adopt), please complete the adoption application here: https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application To Foster, please complete the foster application here: https://anewchancear.org/foster/fostering-application/ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hey everyone, my name is Albert! I’m a 4 year old, 10 pound Mini Poodle with a heart full of hope. You see, I may come off as timid at first, but I've found solace and comfort in the company of other dogs. Their presence helps me feel safe and secure. What can I say? I'm just a shy guy looking for a patient family to help me come out of my shell. Despite my initial reservations, those who know me best describe me as an adorable furball overflowing with love and potential. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I'm as loyal and affectionate as they come. I thrive in environments where patience and understanding abound, and I'm eager to find a forever or foster home where I can blossom into the confident pup I know I can be! Story
My name is Victoria and I'm here to share a little bit about myself with you. At 4 years old and 14 pounds, I'm a petite Mini Poodle with a big heart and an even bigger desire to find my forever (or foster) family. I may be a bit nervous at first, but once I feel comfortable, I'm as friendly as can be. There's nothing I love more than being pet and exploring the great outdoors, especially when it involves frolicking in the yard and sniffing out new adventures. Despite my initial shyness, I'm a social butterfly at heart and thrive on human interaction. I'm ready to open my heart to my forever family—are you ready to open yours to mine? Story
Meet Bentley, a 9 year old, 26 pound fully vetted poodle  He is good with dogs and respectful kids. NO knowledge of cats. Bentley has lived with his dad his entire life, sadly his dad is not well enough to care for him and would love to see him in a loving home. Bentley needs a home where someone is home more then not. He does have anxiety when left for too long and will cry and bark BUT he is not destructive, so the potential adopter must not live in an apartment or condo. A perfect boy, who has been loved, and out of love is looking for his new forever home.  Bentley would love to be with his person/s again, please consider being that "person" for him. Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you! ##1988141##
