Story
Meet Claude. Claude will be available for adoption as soon as he finishes all his vetting in approximately one week. Attacked by other dogs and dumped in a high kill shelter, Claude needed medical attention but is now doing very well. He had worms and was very thin. Now he’s doing awesome. He is a sweet, sweet boy who wants to be with his person every moment. Claude would not do best in an apartment or condo because he can whine and bark when you leave him alone. He’s like your little shadow. Claude is good with other dogs and cats. Claude is an approximately three year-old, 12 pound poodle/terrier mix. Please visit our website at https://sites.google.com/view/muddymoosemutts/home or email pawrescued2016@gmail.com for an application. His adoption fee is $525.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This cutie potootie is TEDDY, he is 1 year old poodle mix and weighs 11 pounds.  We are not sure what he is mixed with, he hair is a loose curly type.  TEDDY was an owner surrender as they just did not have time for him any longer.  He has been a very nice and well-behaved young man in my home.  We do not have a shelter and having him around gives us the opportunity to get to know their personality so we can place them in the best home. TEDDY has a little black on his ears, he gets along with all of the dogs.  I do not have cats so I am not sure how he would react to them.  He is crate and potty trained.  Actually when I am about to leave and I tell all of the dogs to get in their house, TEDDY immediately goes to his crate. He is such a happy boy and always has a smile on his face, not a barker even when there is a visitor at the door.  He walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  He actually looks out the window and enjoys he venture outside of the house.  He is a cuddler but also independent.  He will follow you around but he does not get in the way. If you are interested in adopting TEDDY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         December 13, 2025, 9:44 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Fox, an adorable Poodle/Schnauzer mix who has a lot of love to give a patient and understanding family! Born around February 27, 2020, this sweet boy weighs a charming 18.6 pounds. Fox and his companion, Goldie, were rescued off the streets of San Antonio by a kind Samaritan. He had a microchip, but we never could get the owner to respond.  Initially, he was very timid and distrustful of people due to his past experiences. However, with time, patience, and care, he has truly started to come out of his shell. His personality shines brighter the more he knows and trusts you. While he needs some time to warm up to new people and environments, once he considers you family, you'll discover his affectionate nature. His favorite things in the world are getting wonderful belly rubs and enjoying tasty treats! Fox is looking for a quiet and stable home where his new family is willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and loved. If you are ready to offer a committed, patient home and gain the trust of this deserving little guy, you can apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org. His adoption fee is $300. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 3:28 pm

You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,600 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!   Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms.
