Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi… I’m Ned. Have you ever wanted a Golden Doodle, but smaller? I look just that! Please read my bio thoroughly.  I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a really soft heart. I came here with a few of my companions through a transfer, and I’ll be honest—I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. I haven’t always had that, so it takes me a little time to trust new people. At first, I might hang back and just watch. I need someone very patient who will let me go at my own pace and not rush me. I need someone who can understand it may take a long time for me to become comfortable around humans, as I have had a rough beginning to life. I will try to run away from you. But I am not aggressive, or have ever tried to bite.  With me being scared, I need you to understand that I will need patience with going outside. I will try to run away, so keep me on a harness until I learn coming back inside on my own is okay. I do feel more confident around other dogs, so a home with another canine is a must. They can help show me that life isn't so bad. I am unsure how I do with cats. Older considerate kids only.  Due to my breed, I’ll also need regular grooming, but I’ve been very good for it here. Each time I will even relax in someone’s lap while they are taking care of me… I think that shows I do want to trust—I just need a little time to get there. I do want to be upfront about my health—I’m heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines and prevention, and microchipped, so I’m ready when the right person comes along. My adoption fee is $350. If you think you might be my person, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to me being scared and nervous, I am not an option for out-of-state transport, and must remain in Texas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 8, 2026, 1:40 pm

Story
Opal – Professional Cuddler Seeking a Forever Lap ❤️ Meet Opal, an approximately 5-year-old Poodle mix whose favorite hobbies include snuggling, napping, and being as close to her people as possible. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion rather than a high-energy adventure buddy, Opal may be your perfect match! Opal is a gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life: soft dog beds, cozy blankets, chew bones, and quality cuddle time. She gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to many households. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. One of Opal's most endearing features is her adorable crooked little smile. It only adds to her charm and perfectly matches her sweet, loving personality. She is already scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd to help keep her smile healthy and comfortable. Opal does best with a consistent routine and is happy to take care of her business outside when given regular potty breaks. She would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of affection, cozy naps, and quality time with her family. Opal is: ✔ Approximately 5 years old ✔ Spayed ✔ Microchipped ✔ Up to date on vaccines and preventatives ✔ Dog friendly ✔ Cat friendly ✔ Crate trained ✔ Scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd If you're searching for a loyal, loving companion who will happily keep your lap warm and your heart full, Opal is ready to meet you! Adoption Fee: 🏡 $350 Local Adoption Fee (Texas) 🚐 $650 Out-of-State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Ruby, a sweet 12-year-old Miniature Poodle who is looking for a loving new home. She is happiest with someone who is home often and can take her on daily walks. Ruby loves being close to her person, whether that's relaxing on the couch or following you from room to room.Ruby lost her lifelong Shih Tzu companion in December, and since then she has become more dependent on her people for comfort and companionship. She would do best in a home without small children. Ruby is a loyal, affectionate companion who deserves a calm, patient home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love and attention.

Story
Cami has never met a lap she didn't appreciate or a person she didn't want to be closer to. She is loving, cuddly, dog-friendly, and brings a sweet, happy energy wherever she goes. Estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing a perfectly portable 15 pounds, Cami looks like she could be a Miniature Poodle/Dachshund mix, though breed and age are simply our best guess. Go watch Cami | The Little Glow-Up Girl on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this lovable little lady. You may notice she has less fur in parts of her video. That's because much of it was taken while she was still healing and recovering. These days, her coat is growing back beautifully and her glow-up is nearly complete. https://youtu.be/Exek5bvGI2I Cami is currently being fostered in a loving home with dogs of all sizes, from fellow little pups to larger, more playful dogs, and she fits in wonderfully with everyone. She enjoys having canine friends around and would likely love a playful dog companion in her forever home. That said, Cami is very much a people-focused girl. If given the choice between hanging out with the dogs or snuggling up with her favorite human, she is choosing her human. She is house and crate trained, and easy to take along for life's little adventures. Coffee runs? Cami is in. A stroll through the neighborhood? Perfect. Sitting next to you while you answer emails and pretending she is helping? Absolutely. While she loves a good cuddle session, she is not a complete couch potato. Cami has a playful side and enjoys running around and having fun. She balances her lap dog credentials with just enough energy to keep things interesting. One thing to know about Cami is that she likes to share her opinions, aka- she is a chatty Cami. Because of that, she is not a fit for apartment living or homes with shared walls. A house where she can chat freely without bothering neighbors will help set everyone up for success. The best part about Cami isn't her growing coat or her adorable little face. It's her resilience. She has come through a difficult chapter, settled beautifully into her foster home, and never stopped being loving through it all. Now she is simply looking for a family to love her into and through the absolute best part of her story. Ready to welcome Cami Cutie home?
