Story
My name is Adam and I am a little fellow weighing just 7 pounds at 21 weeks.  I am looking for a home where at least one person is home a lot.  When I leave my littermates I am going to be really scared when I go to a new family.  I don’t want to be crated all day and home alone.  My foster mom says that I am a Poodle/Pug and Beagle mix.  Lordy 40, that is some combination that made me this cute?   I am a sweetheart and all puppy who loves to run and play and chew on my toys.  I am NOT totally housebroken because honestly, I am just young and still immature to learn all the hard fast rules in life.  I am  crate trained  but not for long periods of time.  My foster mom insists that my next family is not going to leave me alone for long amounts of time.   I am still just a baby.  I am walking on a leash pretty well but I do jump up on people to greet them and you will have to work on that with me.  I know I shouldn’t jump up but I am desperate to get the big person’s attention when they come home.  I promise to brighten up your life and I will probably stay small  and under 25 pounds as an adult.  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue about me:   ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 21, 2023, 8:12 pm

Story
Raphael, born 4/5/23, is an adorable little miniature poodle with an undocked tail, who was recently rescued and he was covered with fleas. That has been taken care of and he is so much more comfortable now. Thin when rescued, he is eating well and weighed 9.9 on 9/12/23 pounds which is close to what he should weigh for his size. Raphael, is white with a light dusting of apricot on his ears and at the base of his tail. He is a very sweet, very smart little pup that loves to be held. Raphael is up to date on vaccinations and has an appointment to be groomed soon. His picture will be updated after his groom. Raphael is located in Arkansas. His adoption fee is $965 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Raphael, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. This pup is in a foster home in TX. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Lexie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Lexie has had her lil world turned upside down. Her elderly owner who loved them very much had to move in with family and is not longer able to care for her, her brother Oreo and her buddy, Shorty. Not only did she lose her owner but her home as well. Being the lil trooper she is, she's settled down in her new foster home and is doing remarkably well. It helped she got to stay with her doggie family and is making friends with the other foster pups there. Lexie is around 6 years young and would make a great companion for just about any household. She is at the age where she's just a lot of fun to have around. Some benefits to adopting an older pup - What you see is what you get, no guessing how big they will be or what they will look like grown They are already house and crate trained They are out of the puppy destructive stage, they don't need to be constantly monitored If they are quiet for too long, they're probably taking a snooze Lexie is super affectionate. She loves attention and her little stubby never stops moving! We're not sure how many kiddos she's been around but with her friendly personality she should be fine with dog savvy kids. Lexie is house and crate trained making her an excellent addition for a (she's hoping, your) family. Coming in in the small category at 19lbs she's the perfect size for strolls around the neighborhood, walks to the local coffee shop, trips to town for your errand runs and of course stopping at the park for some play time or just relaxing watching the squirrels. And the best part is she's not so big she'll take up the whole couch for her beloved cuddle time! With her mixed breed hairytage, Lexie will need some regular grooming, but for the most part a good brushing a few times a week with keep her looking like the lil princess she is!! Will you be the family that will right Lexie's world again? You just need to stop scrolling and fill out her adoption application and we'll take it from there!!! This family includes Oreo, Lexie and Shorty
