Lucky for us, they were willing to let us have him. He is just a happy go lucky boy - filled with love and cuddles! What cutie a fluffball. He is a typical doxie AND doodle, just bouncy trouncy and waiting for snuggles in a forever home that understand his breed and what it entails to raise a puppy. Loves being on your lap, playing, being a dork and snuggling non stop. He has been learning basic manners and is strong and healthy - he has been crate training and is working on house training too - these breeds can be stubborn FYI so need PRO training to maximize future adulthood. He loves gentle children, dogs and was raised with cats too. He can't be a better fit for most families! This puppy is truly special and RARE and is coming a long way for love. We do not DNA for breed mix FYI and go by what the owners have told us and he is likely the correct mix. Adopter will need to love him despite any DNA findings so please understand we are a rescue not a breeder. He will likely to grow to be a small to medium sized dog as he is only 5lbs currently, but too early to tell if he's more like mom or dad. He has had a round of vaccines so adopters will have to complete the other rounds and is too small to be neutered at this size and age. Minimum $750 donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford NY - no exceptions.

Beautiful Bella and her dad, Eli, were rescued from lives as working dogs for a breeder who treated them as property. Poor Bella had been bred so many times during her eight years of life that her insides were severely swollen and infected. Critter Cavalry arrived just in time to save her from a painful death. Bella is now happy and healthy as she slowly adjusts to life as a pet. She is a very smart girl who just wants to be near you. While she is not needy, she is keenly aware of where her foster mom is and likes to see her. Bella has learned to use the doggie door and is now housebroken. This process was easy for her because she follows her foster mom everywhere. The most challenging hurdle Bella has faced so far has been discovering the freedom of the outdoors, along with the sensation of soft grass beneath her feet, which felt strange at first compared to the concrete she was used to. Learning to sleep with her foster mom was extremely easy for her; she thrives on the closeness and warmth. Bella will be a loyal companion for the right family. She needs a quiet, loving home where she feels safe and is treated with patience and understanding. At eight years old, Bella is not old for a poodle—she has a lot of life left to live and much untapped love waiting to be shared with her new family. (Please note: no small children.) Meet Eli! This handsome guy was rescued along with his daughter, Bella, from the working life of dogs that belonged to a breeder. To this man all the dogs were simply property. Eli spent 10 years living life in a crate only being handled when he was 'needed'. You would never know this sweet boy merely existed. He shows none of the scars you would expect him to have. Eli is a very sweet and loving southern gentleman who is slowly learning to live life as a pet. He is adjusting to fresh air and grass. Both of which were a truly new experience for him. He began going outside only because he wanted to stay near his foster mom. Now he happily walks around the yard and joins Bella and his other foster brothers and sisters for a little sunshine. Eli is a very smart boy and is already housebroken. He is also doing a great job walking on a leash. Eli's favorite place is either in the chair curled up or louging on the back of the chair. He is able to see everything from that perch. Eli is ready to find his forever home. He has plenty of years let to enjoy the good things that life has to offer. He is looking for a quiet home full of patience and understanding. He needs a family that will be there for him but allow him to adjust and blossom and his own pace. Snowflake is a sweet little mini poodle with a gentle soul and a happy heart. She’s about a year old, weighs around 11 pounds, and is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Snowflake was found as a stray and sadly went unclaimed, but she’s safe now and ready for a fresh start. She’s very friendly with people and does well with other dogs. Snowflake loves companionship and wants to be near her people. She does have some separation anxiety, which her foster home is actively working on, and she’s already making progress. Because of this, she’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and can continue helping her build confidence. She was shaved down when she came in so she could be cleaned up comfortably, but her fluffy poodle coat will grow back beautifully. Snowflake is a loving little dog who just wants stability, patience, and someone to be her safe place. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Oreo came to us with a few other dogs from a family who loved them but just couldn't take care of them all. She is about 2yrs old and an absolute love. Oreo's favorite part of the day is cuddling on the couch with her people - she also loves running around the backyard and barking at anything that dare move on her block lol. She does well with other dogs, is very smart and super trainable. Right now we are working on getting her vet care and vaccines up to date but she'll soon be ready for adoption.
