He is fully vetted and already showing off great potty habits—he takes cues from the other dogs and confidently heads outside to do his business like a pro. For such a young pup, he’s off to an amazing start! Rufus is the definition of a fun-loving puppy. He’s full of playful energy, curious about the world around him, and always ready for his next adventure. But don’t worry—he balances that puppy enthusiasm with plenty of snuggles, happily curling up for cuddles after a day of play. He is incredibly loved in his foster home, and it’s easy to see why. With his affectionate nature, joyful personality, and eagerness to be part of the family, Rufus is sure to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
