Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Louie the Labra-doodle: A Ball-Obsessed, Kid-Dodging, Male Diva of All Doodles!  Louie is a Doodle, but not just any doodle. Oh no, he’s a premium mix of two royally different dog breeds: a Labrador (the water-loving, hunting fiend who’s all about getting dirty and chasing things) and a Poodle (an exceptionally intelligent, slightly snobbish, and all-around canine diva). The result? One very opinionated, ball-obsessed, not-a-fan-of-kids, occasionally dramatic fluffball named Louie. &#226&#156&#168 At 6 years old and 30 pounds soaking wet, Louie is ready to grace a new home where the only humans are mature (or at least older kids who know better than to get in his personal space). He’s NOT about that chaos life—small humans? Too much noise, too many fast moves. Louie’s more of a “sit back, relax, and watch the world go by” kinda guy. Here’s what Louie really loves: Fetch: Louie is all about the ball—he’ll chase it, retrieve it, and look at you like you owe him for that perfect throw. Seriously, you could have a private tennis ball session with this guy all day, and he wouldn’t complain (as long as the ball keeps coming). Diva Vibes: Louie’s got the intelligence of a Poodle mixed with the charisma of a dog who knows he’s extra. Whether it’s napping on the couch or giving you the side-eye when things aren’t up to his standards, Louie’s not afraid to let you know when he’s not impressed. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Lap hog: Your lap is his throne. Don’t even think about getting up without warning. If you’ve got a couch, prepare for Louie to claim it for himself. He’s a master of lap snuggling, so bring your blanket and prepare to have your personal space invaded. &#239&#184&#143 No Kids, Please: Louie’s not about that kid life. He prefers a calmer environment where no one’s chasing him or trying to pick him up without permission. If you’ve got older kids who know how to treat a dog with respect, maybe they’ll get a pass. But no promises. Dog Selective: Louie’s a little picky with other dogs. He’s got to be in the right mood and with the right canine companion to share his space. No drama allowed—just good vibes only. On top of all that, Louie is vaccinated, neutered, and ready to find his forever home, where he can be the center of attention (as he deserves). He’ll warm your lap, chase the ball, and share his thoughts on weather patterns—because, really, what’s more important than the forecast? So, if you're looking for a ball-chasing, couch-loving, ball-of-adorable, and occasionally diva-ish companion, Louie the Labradoodle is your guy! Apply to adopt Louie with United Doberman Rescue at www.uniteddobermanrescue.org. But remember—no kids (unless they understand the art of respecting a dog’s boundaries). If you can keep up with his fetch game and don’t mind a little doggie diva attitude, Louie is waiting for you to roll out the red carpet!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Currently seeking a foster or forever home Poodlix | Neutered Male | ~1 year old | 8 lbsTurnip is a sweet, affectionate pup who’s all about his favorite human — if you’re looking for a loyal shadow, Turnip is your guy! He bonds closely with one person and becomes anxious when separated, so he’d do best with someone who's home most of the day or can include him in daily activities. Ideal Home:A calm household where he can be the center of attentionPreferably an only dog or with a very low-energy dog. Someone home more often than not (remote worker, retiree, etc. ) Patient, understanding adopter willing to continue potty training and build his confidence Social & Playful:Gets along well with other dogs and cats. Can be a little possessive over toys or treats with other dogs, but has never bitten. Enjoys dog parks and meeting new people Loves cuddling, following his person around, and even watching TV!  Health: Had FHO surgery on his rear left leg; occasional limping or hopping is normal and expected — he's not in pain Requires regular grooming to prevent matting  Other Notes: Sleeps well overnight in his crate Crating for long hours during the day is not ideal — he needs companionship  Learning “sit” and has pretty good recall Eats better when someone keeps him company Can be barky at times (including barking at the TV!) Turnip is a loving, quirky little companion who would thrive in a calm, caring home where he gets the attention and reassurance he craves. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly sidekick who will adore you endlessly — Turnip may be your perfect match.  Interested in fostering or adopting Turnip? Story
Age: 2.5 years old Weight: 40 lbs. Dog friendly: Yes, needs another confident dog in his home Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes, Older/considerate kids only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Armstrong! This 2.5-year-old, 40-pound Labradoodle is a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a very special forever home. Armstrong is house trained, crate trained, and full of potential—but he needs a patient and experienced adopter who’s ready to go at his pace. Armstrong can be shy, skittish, and slow to warm up, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and playful personality shines. He absolutely loves to run and play, especially with another confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes. A securely fenced yard (minimum 6 feet) is a must, as Armstrong is a known flight risk. He is not a candidate for apartment or shared-wall living. This boy thrives with minimal kennel time and would do best in a calm home where he can continue building confidence and trust through consistent training and routine. In the right environment, Armstrong blossoms into a loyal, loving companion. If you’re ready to earn the love of a special pup who needs a little extra time—but gives a whole lot in return—Armstrong might just be your perfect match. Adoption Fee: $795
